Monthly Rentals in Shinglehouse

Susan's wonderful, cozy, and clean cottage was absolutely PERFECT in every way and we can't wait to return! It was absolutely spotless, contained everything we needed (and then some) for our stay, and she even left us some yummy goodies for a welcome gift! The bed was super comfortable, the shower water pressure was perfect, and the cozy living room area and kitchen made us feel right at home. It was rainy, cold and windy during our stay (we even experienced some April snow!), but the little fireplace and heated flooring kept us nice and warm. We loved the decor too- so inviting and calming. The single car garage was a HUGE plus too as we didn't have to have to go out into the rainy weather to be able to get into and out of our car. Susan was such a gracious host and it was a joy and blessing to be able to meet her in person! Susan's beautiful Hinsdale Cottage has moved right to the top of our list of our favorite AirBnb rentals and we can't wait to return!

Remote weekend away. Stream in the front yard so relaxing while sitting in the rocking chair on the front porch. Walking trails on the property. Our German shepherd Milo had the time of his life. Connor’s place provided everything and then some! Will definitely return.

Heather was very welcoming and responsive to messages. When we got there it felt like coming home. The lights were one and provided nice ambiance, there was wax melts going that gave the place a wonderful smell, and on the overnight there was quite a bit of snow so she offered to have the driveway plowed. It’s a beautiful cabin and we had a great time on our annual reunion/getaway.

This place is amazing. The entire property is exactly as described. The trails are perfect and you could spend tons of time exploring them. Bob and Barb couldn’t have been a better host, and the kids loved saying hi when he would stop in and make sure we didn’t need anything. It’s an incredible property and a must if you have bikes/quads to explore the trail system. We’ll be back for sure.
