Abdo's apartment is very spacious. the bed is comfortable, Aswan market is very close. But maybe a little noise.

What a wonderful stay on the Elephantine Island! The location was great as everything else. The host Saif is a gentle soul with many talents including healing, cooking, and painting. He prepared delicious omelet and guava juice every morning. Also we were treated to a delicious dinner at his friend’s cafe where we listened to a soulful Nubian Sudanese music while watching the rise of the moon over the Nile. What a lovely introduction to Nubian culture ! This experience restored my faith in people in Egypt after I encountered a predator host in Luxor earlier this month. Thank you Saif! Mustafa is a very nice host, he made himself available to ensure boat trips as well as to arrange for our luggage, the accommodation is very well equipped with a great view of the Nile and the desert! Splendid place, I recommend it :)

Ahmed, his place, and his process were fantastic. Very communicative. Very accommodating given a couple snags we had traveling. Additionally the previous reviews rang true - he was super helpful with coordinating trips to Abu Simbel and Luxor. He also made the demystified the ferry when we arrived.
