Cabin vacation rentals in Shenandoah Valley

The cabin was really nice with comfortable accommodations and everything you need. There is a road that runs in front of and behind the cabin that has quite a bit of traffic on the weekend as the road is an entrance to a park/campground and it was a holiday weekend. This was a benefit to us though as we love to hike and could walk to or drive within a couple of minutes to several really great trails! Having the heated in ground pool for my daughter was amazing and when we had some issues with Bees the owners handled it right away. This is definitely a cabin in the woods by the water so come prepared with bug repellant. We did venture out to some local wineries and a lavender farm/winery but would have been just as content to enjoy the cabin and the property! Overall we really enjoyed this place and would totally go back when we are visiting the Harrisonburg area.

Perfect cabin — wish could’ve stayed longer. History buffs should take a walk past the old post office and see the church and cemetery.

We booked this cabin for a two-family Easter vacation. It was just perfect! The layout was spacious and beautiful. The best parts were the well-stocked kitchen (I made a 7 course Easter feast plus dessert), the comfortable and enclosed porch, and the general outdoors! The kids had so much fun hunting all around the yard and surrounding woods for their eggs and the adults had plenty of spaces to sit around a fire, relax in the hot tub, or enjoy some family games. We would absolutely book again!

We loved our stay here. The house was the cleanest rental we've ever stayed at. The master bed was incredibly comfortable. My wife and i both said the sleeps during our stay here were heavenly. The hot tub was hot and clean. Kitchen was well equipped. The house had a great location for hiking in Shenandoah NP. Check in instructions were sent before arrival and crystal clear and easy to follow. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Located in a very remote, quite and beautiful part of Shenandoah with everything you need right there. The beds are very comfortable and the hot tub an amazing relaxation experience.

The only part of the stay that didn't get 5 stars was that it wasn't quite as secluded as I'd hoped for. There are a number of homes on the road to the cabin, and a thin line of trees breaks the view. Admittedly unless you're looking for the other houses you don't notice them, so I got past that quickly enough. That said, the cabin was perfect, clean, cozy and everything worked as stated. Having grown up in the country, but living in a city now, I felt the stress melt away as soon as I stepped into the massive yard where my son and I spent a lot of time playing soccer and other sports. My son and wife really enjoyed the hot tub. The location is 15 minutes away from Luray which meant that the stars were amazing for the brief break in the clouds we got, but that it was close enough to get groceries and take out as needed. Plus it's about 20 minutes away from Front Royal so there are places to go and enjoy like Skyline or Luray Caverns. Jackie was a great and responsive host!

we had a great experience. it's very tranquil and a very nice get away. I needed it and had a quiet night enjoying the hot tub, playing board games and just relaxing away from the real world.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our two girls were happy to run around the yard and play in the little playground. The house was clean, neat, and homey. The view is spectacular. The hot tub was plus. Jan even put a sign that said happy birthday for my husband. So thoughtful! thank you, Jan! Sylvia

This location was fantastic, plenty of room and things to do. Very peaceful. The host had clear directions on how to make this stay as smooth as possible, and was very communicative ! My friends and I had a fantastic time and are looking forward to revisiting sometime in the near future. Thank you.

A great getaway in the woods! Private without being isolated. Very close to lots of great hiking and the fire amenities were a perfect way to enjoy this cozy home. Super dog friendly airbnb too!

Had a great stay with our dogs. We loved the privacy with no neighbors in sight. There were lots of bees so it was a bit hard to enjoy sitting out on the deck but otherwise was great! Nice to be able to walk into Shenandoah right from the house.

Very much enjoyed a short but sweet stay in this cabin! Appreciated the little touches including both fireplaces being set up for use upon arrival & maps of the area being laid out on the kitchen island. This quiet, pet-friendly Airbnb was a great escape for the weekend. Thank you for having us 🙂

Beautiful property with tons of thoughtful amenities included. So peaceful and private. It was a perfect getaway retreat!

We loved our stay! The cabin was clean and had everything you could need for a tiny getaway. The fire pit and hot tub were awesome! We loved the added touch of the long dog leads available and the bucket of dog toys inside! We will definitely be back and would recommend to others!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house was very clean and lots of things in the kitchen, lots of towels and dishes and the basics like dish liquid and hand soaps. My favorite part was the Amish rocking chairs on the porch, perfect for relaxing morning coffee and chilling in the evening. The fire pit area was great with plenty of seating. we did not realize the rental was so close to 220 but we honestly didn't mind because it was so quiet and peaceful. Can't wait to stay again. Carmen was an amazing host! Her place was a great spot for a getaway right outside Shenandoah. The hot tub was very nice after a day out hiking. The kitchen was well equipped to make meals and the fire place was nice to relax beside. Bed was comfortable! Definitely a great place to stay!

We enjoyed our peaceful stay at the yurt. The views were beautiful. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of wood was provided for the fire pit. Douglas was promptly responsive if I had a question. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back again.

Buck's Run was a beautiful cabin tucked away in the Shenandoah. It was a peaceful getaway for my friends and we enjoyed lounging about playing board games, reading, soaking in the hot tub, and staring out into the woods as the snow fell. Jen was very proactive in making sure we were going to be ok with the incoming storm and Pete their local manager was very responsive with questions we had.

We want to thank Mark so much for being an incredible host—our stay couldn’t have been more perfect! It was the ideal getaway to celebrate my son’s upcoming birthday. The property was peaceful, beautiful, and packed with things to do. Mark truly goes above and beyond to upgrade the experience and make guests feel completely at home. Our first stay was on March 7th, and this second visit somehow managed to be even better. Mark takes feedback seriously and quickly makes thoughtful improvements based on suggestions. He also provided excellent recommendations for local places to visit, which made our trip even more special. He’s always friendly, responsive, and clearly dedicated to creating a five-star experience. We can’t wait to return and explore more of the amazing locations he hosts. What a fantastic weekend! This cabin was so sweet, in a peaceful and beautiful location, close to the river, with chickens, tons of birds, our own little porch cat, and kayaks and canoes available at any time. It is also in the perfect location to visit Luray Caverns and Shenandoah. The cabin was comfortable, well stocked, and the fresh eggs were delicious. Owners are very responsive. Highly recommend!

Having stayed at several air bnbs in WV I can easily say this is hands down the best one. The vibe of the house is immaculate. Rooms are large and impeccably decorated. The porch areas are all perfect and the whole place has an amazing blend of rustic and refined decor. Highly recommend
