It was my first Airbnb experience, and it was an amazing one. The house was clean and filled with the amenities my kiddos and I needed; it felt like a home away from home. The host was responsive and very friendly. If available, this will be my go-to when I visit KS. Thanks for making this experience exceptional!

The perfect place for our adult children and their spouses and children to stay. Neighborhood was safe and quiet. Property was much larger inside than we expected with two spacious gathering areas for time together after little ones were tucked in. Holly was very flexible with checkout to help a nap time for the littlest one stay on schedule. Her response time was prompt and her messages were friendly and kind. We will be booking again for future gatherings.

Awesome secluded house, host was very responsive and helpful if anything was needed during our stay, highly recommended. Our group had come from tennessee to waterfowl hunt awesome place to stay felt like we were way out in the country but it's actually very close to restaurants and other accommodations.

We book this home every year for our Girls Weekend. It has everything we need and is the perfect size for us. The kitchen is spacious and fun to hang out in while snacking and talking. Edward is SUPER responsive with anything you need!! We needed a few things, and they quickly brought them over! He also helped us with a TV that wouldn't connect! We are planning on booking again in 2025! Thanks again for everything, Edward!!

Very well done place! Very comfortable, cozy, nice ambiance, great place to stay. The neighborhood looks a little like it is in the process of being refreshed with some nice areas and other rougher looking places, but it seems safe and it was quiet. The beds were very comfortable and there was a lot of care put into the renovation of this place. Alexa was great and played whatever type of music you wanted to hear. Overall, I really liked staying here.

Clean and well-appointed. Margaret was clear about her expectations, making it easy for both of us to be satisfied.

Karen's home was perfect for our stay. Extremely quiet and peaceful! Wanted to try the homemade banana nut bread that she made, but unfortunately allergic to bananas. Highly recommend for those that just want to get away and enjoy some peace. Just like home when I was much younger. Can't say enough good things about Karen's place.

I would stay at Jack’s house over and over. The home is so beautiful and spacious. We had everything we needed. The space this home has in incredible and it’s so cozy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know. Jack was so nice and very helpful understanding, and very accommodating.

This was the perfect little getaway for the night for my daughter and I. It was so cozy and quiet and we had a blast playing all the available games. We both felt asleep watching movies on the giant couch it was so comfortable. Our hosts were very responsive and greeted us when we arrived and assured to reach out if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back!

What a cozy, clean place! I felt right at home, welcomed, and set up to have a relaxing stay! I really appreciated the welcome basket, which included recommendations of places to visit in town and discounts! Check in was smooth, secure, and safe. Hosts were proactive in communicating parking options and arrival instructions. Highly recommend this location, and would be happy to stay here again if I am ever in town.

Hands down the best Airbnb experience I’ve had yet! This upstairs apartment was perfect for a visit with my adult children to visit my daughter and nephew at KU. The location was perfect and so was the apartment. We were able to grill out and cook in breakfast Easter morning. Our hosts were genuinely kind and welcoming to us. We were encouraged to use the yard for our Easter egg hunt and grilling out. We will definitely try to book here for future visits. It was homey and comfortable. We felt like guests, not renters.

There’s no place like it. Sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings watching the river and sometimes an eagle is so relaxing. And then the ability to walk downstairs for a burrito (on the weekends) or an ice tea or coffee with cinnamon roll is priceless. Thank you for hosting!

Julie's place was very clean and located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The instructions posted around the house were very helpful, and I like that she keeps costs low by ensuring guests keep the space nice. She was very responsive and made sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. This was a nice place for a quick stay in Lawrence!

This Airbnb worked out perfectly for our family while we were visiting our son at KU. Plenty of space, great location, and beautifully decorated. Great communication! Definitely recommend.

This is one of the best AirBnBs that I've stayed in. I wish I could've stayed longer! The apartment was super comfortable & quiet. I could tell that every piece of furniture & decor was carefully selected for the aesthetics of the place & for a 1 bed/1bath it seems incredibly spacious. All the amenities were as described. TVs were easy to use with all the streaming services anyone could need. Wifi was fast and reliable. Neighborhood was quiet & felt secure. I'm a night shift worker, so I greatly appreciated the black out shades in the bedroom; some gets through along the sides, but it was still dark enough to allow me to sleep during the day. Kitchen was well appointed with high quality brand name items for cooking, coffee, etc. Towels and linens were spotless with plenty of both provided. If I find myself in Topeka again in the future for an extended stay, I'll definitely be checking to see if the Prairie Condo is available before looking anywhere else.

This is great place to stay for KU parents!! Campus is super close and everything is within a 5 minute drive or a short walk. Would definitely stay again!

This house is simply fantastic! If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. The comfort and luxury inside make you fall in love with it from the moment you arrive. The balcony is amazing, offering both great comfort and beautiful views. We traveled to Kansas to visit our son who is studying there, and I feel we were incredibly lucky to find and book this home. The location couldn’t be better — everything you need is just a short walk away. The house is full of luxurious touches and little surprises that make it stand out. I especially loved that on Saturday morning, local producers gathered in the parking area to sell their products — a lovely detail that really gave us a taste of the local culture. Finally, the host, Omar, is one of the kindest and most discreet people I’ve ever met. Don’t think twice — just book it!

This place was really cool! The garage door opening up in the living room was even better than the pics show. Clean and easy to access. Terrace with hot tub, grill and fireplace was an extra bonus. This place is well worth the price. Cheaper than a hotel would have been for us and much nicer, private accommodations with a great view of the night life. Definitely recommend Jessie’s Place!!!

Beautiful space. Clean and soft linens. This space is next to an active night life scene and was a little noisy. We expected this at the time of booking and we were prepared with a small sleep sound machine. Awesome place, will book again in the future.
