Had the loveliest stay here. The place looks even better than the photos, and is super tastefully done, with lots of character! A lovely cottage, the perfect base for a stay in Bruton! All the little touches and help for things to do around the area were super thoughtful! The whole family loved the place, would return!! 10/10

We were absolutely delighted with our stay in the Nook. Such a beautiful setting and cosy, comfortable accommodation, with everything we could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed a relaxing soak in the bath, followed by a hot drink in front of the log fire. I note the quality of the decor and crockery etc. we also very much enjoyed a walk around the garden. Such an idyllic location. Special thanks to Jennifer for offering such a wonderful experience.

We are home after a Mon- Fri half term break at Admiral’s Watch, and we have had a wonderful time. Before we arrived we had clear directions from Nicky along with a really helpful list of recommendations for places to go with the kids. Getting to the property was easy and it was great to have a dedicated parking spot. The area is peaceful and completely beautiful. The small precinct of shops/ restaurants within the terrace was useful and didn’t intrude on our stay at all. The property itself is beautiful and just like the photos- the sea is right in front of the apartment making the views amazing. Nicky has styled the property beautifully and there was plenty of space for us as a family of four plus our dog. Activity wise I would recommend a trip to nearby Hurst Castle, and a meal at the Cliff House restaurant which was a short stroll away. Totally recommended, we had a great stay. We had a delightful long weekend for a family group of 8. The accommodation was exactly what we needed, as it was spacious, beautifully presented and had everything that you needed. The bedrooms were very comfortable and attractive. We were lucky to have excellent weather so made full use of the outside space and gas BBQ that was provided. The property is so large we didn’t need to use the lounge or dinning room as we were comfortable in the kitchen lounge area. A great stay and we can highly recommend staying there as a good base for the surrounding areas and it was very private. We had great meals at the local Crown and Stapleton Arms. Lesley was very proactive in her communications and check in was very easy. A great time was had by all. Thanks Lesley.

I cannot fault this home! We all kept commenting on how lovely it was during our stay! It was a lovely location for visiting Paulton's Park (the main reason for our visit to this part of the world) and we also went to Stourhead which was beautiful, but the house made family time so easy and enjoyable. In the lead-up to arriving, I contacted Victoria quite a few times with some questions and she couldn't have been more accomodating of my baby brain! Thank you! we've already recommended it to friends! x

We had a great stay again. This is our second year returning to Alex's place. The accommodation is perfect of our needs. Alex is a great host, really helpful and responsive. Lovely peaceful location. Thanks for having us.

Phil's place had everything we needed. Situated right by the hospital - it worked perfectly for us as there to visit a very ill family member. We really appreciated the parking space and how quiet it was in the flat. Checking in process easy and all information very clear. Any communications were quickly responded to by Phil. Would definitely use again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival, bright and comfortable. Quiet at night. Nice views from the living area over the harbor and looking over the town from the large bedroom. As Suzanne had noted in the listing, there is no assigned parking space which could be an issue. We had to pay to park the day of arrival. It’s free after 6pm until 8am. One item we’d suggest adding would be a clothes hanger for drying as the machine didn’t seem to actually dry anything. We’d highly recommend Seagulls restaurant (book in advance). Unassuming place but food was excellent. We also liked Platform for a Sunday roast and Rise for breakfast. The George was decent. If we’re back in West Bay, we’d definitely stay again.

Amazing location in Clifton, in the heart of Clifton. village. The flat was so quiet and peaceful at night, it was perfect!

What a fun period style home on two levels! You feel like you’ve stepped back in time. A large apartment within easy walking access to town. The kitchen boasts a table that seats 10 and is bright and airy. A washer and dryer near the downstairs two bedrooms is a huge plus. The bathroom and toilet is downstairs. The shower curtain in the deep tub was our only challenge as it wants to stick to you. The Paragon was once part of the elite sections of town. And it is complete with a garden for casual sitting. The views out the back kitchen/sitting room windows overlooks the beautiful hills and Georgian buildings. Such a perfectly preserved town of beautiful Bath limestone with a golden patina. Walk anywhere in town in ten minutes with few steep slopes. I found i loved sitting, reading and enjoying a cake and coffee in Waterstone’s Bookstore in the afternoon at their upstairs cafe. If you are coming to Bath do read Douglas Westcott’s Go Swift And Far.

We had a great stay here! Christina was really friendly making us feel right at home. She gave us some local recommendations and allowed us to come and go with zero hassle. The surroundings are stunning and we could have sat by the window all day. Great walking near by. Beach is a drive able day trip too.

Immaculate apartment within walking distance from bath city centre. Perfect for two people and would highly recommend!

Beth’ s place is amazing. A calm and peaceful haven. From the thoughtful welcome card to the incredibly kind extra touches like bread, milk and eggs. Beth has created the most fantastic experience for guests. We had a fabulous 8 nights and really recommend this as a perfect place to stay.

Each summer a U.K. FAMILY holiday is planned for three generations ..ages 5 up to well quite a lot! The choice this year was to go to Simons place.and what a find for everyone. A characterful house. Inside spacious spotless , kitchen brilliant ,, bedrooms roomy , bathroom ( particularly first floor) fabulous, living room so homely with Simons personal collection of books, his piano, homeliness beyond, and with cable Tv Incorporating Sports channels , and Netflix and Prime Video . Outside the decking in the rear garden a wonderful morning sun trap , the front garden full of charm with BBQ facilities and two squirrels nicknamed Bill and Bob..there every morning … The location very peaceful , parking at front and rear of property . Local shops , and the beach within easy 5-10 minutes walk and buses same time away into Bournemouth Poole and Christchurch . A wonderful seven days

We had a great stay, even in January, and the house was perfect for us (6 adults, a 4-year old, 2 dogs) The house was warm and spacious with lots of kids toys and extremely well equipped. The hot tub in the garden is a lovely addition, despite high winds meaning we couldn’t always use it! It’s well located near Cowes and its amenities, amidst other houses but on a quiet road, with great views because it’s on a hill and very near the sea, though not a beach as such. We would certainly return if we can.

I truly believe David’s home “calls you” when your soul needs peace as well as David’s intuitive advice. I have never stayed at a place where the host is nearby (never mind in the same property) and yet, at David’s house I felt extremely comfortable and safe from the start. The house, amazingly located at the feet of Tor’s grounds, is beautiful inside out. It has everything I needed for a pleasant stay, such as, comfortable beds and linen, as well as, a large family kitchen to cook. Yet, its energy, specially in the living room, and garden grounded and soothed my soul. David, the host, gave us the space and privacy needed when one’s on a break. However, he also was a wonderful listening ear and amazing source of advice. Overall, it was a truly amazing stay and I cannot wait to return soon again.

All in all a great & absolutely magical place. We had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend in August and celebrated our 14th Wedding Anniversary. The whole place and service was first class! Kitty was so nice, so helpful and extremely kind person. The garden, lake and view out of our villa was so beautiful and magical, you felt like you are in heaven. We captured a lot of incredible beautiful photos. The bed was really comfy and the rooms spacious, beautiful, stylish and clean. We can honestly say we had absolutely the best time & 2 night’s sleep. Karmacations-Luxe Detached Villa,Lake Spa+Gardens this amazing place made for a truly memorable and magical experience for us!! We wont forget about this magical place and we definitely will back again!!!! Thank you so much Kitty xxxxx

Lovely family home in the heart of the new forest. Was perfect for a pre Christmas getaway with lovely fireplace and warm Arga in the kitchen. Ian and team were very accommodating and it was lovely to have our two cocker spaniels with us to enjoy long daily walks in the forest. Will definitely be back again

Just spent a lovely week at Jan's in a party of 13. Beautiful house and gardens in a very peaceful location. Garden was huge and had wonderful views of the lake. House was equipped with everything you need, even down to shampoo and extra bath sheets for the jacuzzi! Will definately be visiting again. Thank you Jan.

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

Enjoyed a memorable stay in Goretti’s peaceful and spacious home. The house is fully equipped and was extremely clean. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden and conservatory. Communication was seamless. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home. It was lovely to be greeted by the host with a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge.
