Apartment vacation rentals in Sexau

On transit from vacation in Italy, we were four (2 adults, 2 children) and this is a very good place for that. They even set up the crib for us. It's a bit like when you go to sleep with your mother, and that's very positive.

We had a great week in the apartment in Simonswald! The accommodation is modern, stylish and furnished with a lot of love for detail – you immediately feel comfortable. The amenities are high-quality, the kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, the living room is cozy and technically up to date. We particularly liked the quiet bedroom with very comfortable beds and the modern, clean bathroom. The apartment was sparkling clean and well prepared upon arrival. The location is perfect for excursions to the Black Forest, but at the same time quiet and relaxing. Communication with host Marco was also friendly, fast and straightforward at all times. You can tell that someone here is a host with heart and aspiration. We felt completely comfortable and can fully recommend this apartment. If you are looking for stylish, comfortable accommodation in a fantastic environment, this is the place to be.

We had a pleasant family stay thanks to the proactive and useful information from our host. The apartment was clean, the decor very "cozy" and modern. The facilities are functional and we enjoyed the little "repair" touches available. Recommended!

Booked as part of a stay at Europapark, accessible about twenty minutes by car, well served. As far as housing is concerned, in accordance with what is offered. In a quiet residential area, this one is clean and has all the necessary amenities. Sieglinde is an available and caring host, communication is easy, the lockbox allows flexibility on arrival. Finally, the bouquet of peonies that caught our attention was greatly appreciated. We are satisfied with this reservation, thank you.

Very spacious and neat accommodation, with all the comforts. Good location to explore the Black Forest. Beautiful view of the castle ruins of Waldkirch. Within walking distance of the village. Friendly and helpful host.

A very peaceful and quiet place with lots of space and nice toys and games available if there are kids along. Walk directly to forest paths or drive a few minutes to the nice valley town. Very responsive and helpful host. Highly recommended.

Super nice room, everything you need for a short trip, great bathroom, everything clean and also the lighting is wonderful. Quietly located. Glad to come back!

We were allowed to spend a week with Marlene and Marco. It is a very nice house overlooking deer. A very sweet and playful dog and a sweet cat. Right next to the forest with a stream in front of the house. There is also a nice barbecue area to linger. I would describe it as very family-friendly. Everyone was very friendly from the welcome to the farewell. We were allowed to enjoy a barbecue evening with the owners and other holiday guests. It was all around beautiful.🥰 We stayed in the Hirschblick apartment. The place is very clean and exactly as described. The beds are super comfortable. And the balcony with the view is a dream. Early in the morning and in the evening you can see many deer and roe deer. So if you are looking for something cozy, quiet and familiar, this is the place to be. ❤️

Fantastic Airbnb set on a farm in the Black Forest. Gorgeous setting with plenty of walking trails straight from the house and Inge our host was extremely welcoming and friendly. Great for young kids also with a large playroom with multiple toys and a playground, sandpit and trampoline which our two little ones loved. Close to Europa Park also which was great for us. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely come back in the future!

Our year 2025 could not have started better. Thanks for that 🙏 We were greeted personally by Milla & Grace, and we immediately felt welcome thanks to the brief introduction from the two. For us, it was the perfect place to relax, the incredibly beautiful panoramic windows invite you to do yoga or linger. Two other pluses were the sauna and the great free-standing bathtub. We will be happy to come back and can recommend the spacious apartment to anyone looking for something special.

We stayed in this beautiful apartment in Waldkirch for a week and felt very comfortable there. The apartment is just as beautiful as in the photos and the communication went great. Tomasz and his wife always responded super quickly to questions and were able to help us quickly. We would keep coming back :)

Ute’s place is spacious, clean, and bright. What you see is what you get from the photos. As a light sleeper, the passing trains didn’t bother me much, I had no problems sleeping at all. I stayed there for a week and got used to it on the second day. Ute is also friendly and flexible, I arrived slightly earlier and she welcomed me in. On my last day, I stayed at her garden for around 2 hours after I checked out. We talked a lot with my broken German.. I recommend this place.

We were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back. Elena was very friendly from the beginning and the communication went absolutely smoothly. The apartment is very clean, very nice and equipped with everything you need. The wellness area, which you can use, is particularly nice. All in all, really recommended and you should definitely explore the immediate surroundings on foot or by bike when visiting. There are just so many beautiful viewpoints that invite you to linger.

Lovely hosts in beautiful location on outskirts of Freiburg. Very peaceful but easy enough to get into the city.

We spent two pleasant nights in this apartment and felt very comfortable. The place was clean, well appointed, and exactly as described. The location is quiet and yet well connected – ideal to relax and explore the surroundings at the same time. The contact with the host was very friendly and uncomplicated, and the check-in and out went smoothly. We were traveling with children and even though the apartment is not specifically designed for families, everything worked well for us. We spent wonderful days at the property. The location was great. Restaurants were quick to reach and there was plenty of choice. The hot tub and the view were just beautiful. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime!

This is by far the cleanest B&B I’ve ever stayed in – absolutely spotless. The kitchen was well-equipped and thoughtfully stocked with seasonings and a variety of beverages. Both the living room and bedroom were tastefully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom and toilet were supplied with high-quality cleaning products, including disinfectant wipes, which was a lovely touch. Although the parking space is a short walk away, it was still acceptable. One pleasant surprise was the presence of a lift in the building, which made access much easier. It would be even better if there were a clothes rack in one of the rooms, but overall, everything was very well arranged. The host was extremely helpful, and all instructions were clearly communicated. The location is excellent – right in the city centre, making everything very convenient. The only thing to get used to was the spiral staircase, but it added character to the place.

Great stay, very available and accessible host! More than friendly accommodation, the bedding was very comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable, I would highly recommend it!!!!
