Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sesimbra

We had a wonderful time at Jorge’s place. The house is wonderful, has everything you need. The pictures really don’t do it justice! It’s huge and beautiful and very comfortable. We travelled with our 2 young children (2 &4) and it was perfect. The outside space is also lovely, nice pool and outside seating with sun or shade. The area was lovely, supermarkets etc nearby. Also went to an amazing beach and restaurant on Jorge’s recommendation. Communication throughout was easy and helpful. They even stocked the fridge for us with dinner on our first night. Couldn’t ask for more, thank you! We’ll be back.

We had a wonderful short stay at Vladimir's place. The location is excellent, overlooking the ocean. You can take a nice walk towards a viewing spot or take just 3 minutes by car to get to the beach. It's a great place to stay for a family who wants to enjoy warm and sunny days in Ericeira. And do plan to visit Mafra to tour the National Mafra Palace, a fantastic place to visit. A house is well equipped, well planned, and taken care of. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location in old Sintra! Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We loved people watching from the balcony doors down to the main square. We walked to Peña, Moorish Castle & Quinta de Regaleira. We were there just before Easter (low season) and found parking on road as advised by host. Used the drop off/pick up space nearby for unloading.

Great place to stay, beautiful surroundings, close to restaurants and beach. Easy drive from Lisbon. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

Ana and Jorge's flat is lovely - clean, quiet and comfortable, in a great area of the city away from the busy areas but with everything easily accessible. We found Ana and Jorge to be very kind and generous hosts. We felt very much looked after. Lisbon is a beautiful and interesting city and this is the perfect flat for a lovely holiday. Walk five minutes to the viewpoint at the top of Parque Eduardo for the most stunning view!

Villa Bali was absolutely beautiful, we had a group of 16 and we all fit super comfortably. The host was good with keeping us up to date with everything and when we had the power cut across Lisbon came with coal & fire lighters and to check we were all ok! We all agreed we’d 100% stay here again. You will need to get Ubers to places in Lisbon which tends to be around a 15-20 min drive. Thank you so much & I’m sure you’ll see many of us again.

We absolutely loved this place. We were a family of 4, children aged 10 and 5, and made this place our home for 10 nights. The place was spacious, clean, had everything we wanted like washing machine and drier. Beds were comfortable. Lounge was spacious, and loads of room for the kids to play, and not annoy the adults! Location was excellent. Not to far from the centre of Lisbon especially if you use Uber and Bolt. The hosts were excellent, always quick to respond and deal with any enquiries. We would come and stay here again, and I would 100% recommend this place to our family and friends. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your place, and we hope we can stay here again in the future. Annemie is a wonderful and generous host who couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. The house is in an amazing location, up in the hills with beautiful views and bird song. Pool wonderful and kitchen well equipped. We had a great few days. Thank you 🙏🏼

Stayed for a week and was like having a second home. Everything but i mean everything is provided!

Staying at Juan’s place was perfect in many ways. Juan made us feel very welcome and his place is charming. I can’t imagine a better location - next to the castle in old town; it was a convenient spot for shopping, day treks around the city, and transportation from the airport and to Porto. We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Sofia was a very proactive and friendly host. All key information were promptly provided days prior to check-in. Easy self-access with the instructions provided. Rooms were ready and property was clean by the time we arrived. It is a 10-20 minutes commute to certain shops at late hours, however, the privacy is worth its keep. There is supermarket super close by, for us was unfortunate due to the time we would arrive everyday at the property meant they were always closed, but those seeking a holiday, that would be no issue. Lovely spacious living room with doors that you see straight out to the swimming pool. As we were there mainly for business purposes, we did not manage to have usage of certain available amenities - but worth to those coming in for a holiday. Sofia was also always efficient in responding, regardless of time (unethical on my part to message pas midnight) nonetheless, she would respond right away. Beautiful home and an amazing host.

David has been one of the best host I ever met. He is super profesional, friendly, adaptable and makes you feel like home. He has been on top of everything and the house is stunning. Amazing location, super funcional and very cozy. 10/10

Impeccable exterior for this kind of rental, sun, swimming pool, terrace, fireplace-barbecue, house "like at home" with everything you need to live there, well equipped with household electronics, quiet despite the "Portuguese" dogs who often bark at night but almost not in our case, quiet in the neighborhood, the market 100m from the house and supermarkets that are not very far either, my favorite beach (Princesa) 5 minutes by car.

We had such a wonderful stay at this unit. The view had incredible sunsets, was perfect for a family of 4. Sofia was the best host. So attentive, friendly and helpful. A storm blew out our internet for a week but Sofia jumped in and ran her own cable from another unit to ensure we did not go more than a day while the local utility service was backed up. We loved the beds, easy parking, great kitchen and layout. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Sofia and Aksel!

Maria and her husband were lovely hosts and for our family of 9 it was a great place to stay and spend time together. We especially enjoyed the area around the pool and the kids went in when the weather would allow it. The house is very well equipped and had everything we needed. It was also ideally located for everyone to go off on their own sometimes. Some went to the China market across the street, some went grocery shopping, some to the playground and some to McDonalds which is all close by. The local market with fresh fish, vegetables and bread is also just down the street, in walking distance, and full of local life. In general the possibilities for grocery shopping in the neighborhood are good. Thank you so much to Maria and her husband for having us!

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

We had a great, restful time at Lurdes despite rainy weather. We were very warmly welcomed and provided with great sightseeing and restaurant tips. Elisabeth was always available for us and very quick to respond. The ocean view from the deck is amazing! The nearby beach (we would recommend a car) has great bars and clear water. The house is clean and as pictured. Thank You!

We had a wonderful week here! Our 5 year old loved the climbing frame, extra toys and of course the heated swimming pool. We loved the peace and quiet, the beautiful surroundings and the view. The house is extremely comfortable and we were made to feel at home right away after a lovely welcome and tour to help us get settled. The fantastic beds (hotel quality) and blackout blinds meant that we all slept really well, especially after long, active days. All of the facilities were of very high quality. The area is beautiful with a range of different beaches to choose from, as well as trips to Lisbon and Sintra easily possible, and the nearby mountains as well. There was also the convenience of a lovely bakery and mini supermarket very close by, as well as fantastic restaurants on the local beaches. A great place to stay, wonderful hosts and a fantastic area. We would highly recommend!!
