Great place in a pretty and private environment! Perfect quinta to relax before going back to work! The owner was really responsive and friendly, giving us privacy too. Awesome stay and highly recommended!

Fantastic space for a family retreat. Very nice and very clean house. Excellent and welcoming decoration, I considered the space in reality better than in the pictures! Surroundings with great tranquility. Super helpful and attentive host who brought us fresh bread every morning and a regional snack. Ease of check-in and check-out. We took our patuda who also loved the space and the neighborhood. We went a week in August and were positively surprised by the absence of typical crowds of these sites at this time of year. I strongly advise.

Maria and her husband were the kindest and most considerate people! They welcomed us as we arrived and provided us with a some local cheese, jam and wine upon arrival. very special! Every time there I had a question Maria responded and went over and above to solve it or provide the necessary feedback. The house has everything you need, without exception, Maria and her husband have gone to great lengths to make it feel like home from home for a family. We stayed with a family of 5 with 3 young daughters 3, 5 & 10 months. Thank you soooo much for letting us stay! Dan, Eve and the girls

We had a very pleasant stay ath Shay's place. They used up the space optimally, and as result the apartment feels spacious and cosy at the same time. They also are very accommodating and did all what they could to make us feel home despite the unfavourable weather. The apartment felt somewhat better insulated than most houses in Portugal, which for us has been a great plus. Overall, very glad to have been their guest.

We felt absolutely comfortable in the cottage. So good that we even extended our stay spontaneously. Our children were allowed to use the existing toys and were very happy with them. We were pleased with the citrus fruits and the delicious olive oil. The welcome was very warm, even if we did not meet the hosts themselves. They were very interested in whether everything was a good fit and were always available. The beds were super comfortable and the nights quiet. The area is very scenic and lushly green. There are great hiking opportunities and river swimming spots. Thanks for the wonderful time!

Fernanda's place is wonderfully Cool... it's clean, smelly, comfortable, nice, super in peace and quiet. Perfect for resting and enjoying the region. Fernanda is a great host and so is her pets. It's a place to feel at home... Loved it! For me it's 5*... I'll come back whenever I can, as it will be my favorite spot in Dornes 🌹💚🩷

we had a fantastic time at Eva's home she was very warm amd responsive. My husband and I went with the 3 children and there was enough space to accomodate us all. The pool was welcome from the heat of Central Portugal, the garden and Parrot were a treat. It is a place you can go back to and stay and the price was affordable. Thanks Eva xxx

We enjoyed a nice week in Hernani's house, through Joao with whom communication was easy and enjoyable. The area is worth a visit: Coimbra, the Sierra de Lousa, Tomar or Bathala are worth the detour and deserve a little drive. The quietness of the house, the beautiful terrace and the pool allowed us to recharge our batteries after our explorations.

I highly recommend this apartment, D. Margarida is a very helpful lady, she makes us feel at home, she gave us a lot of tips for places to visit... the cleaning of the house could not be better, everything was spotless....

Fiona was a fantastic host. Easy-going, considerate, and respectful. The apartment looked exactly as advertised and it had everything we needed. We had a pleasant and relaxing time, and 100% would recommend staying here.

My family and I had a lovely week with Denise and her daughter. The apartment was lovely bright and spacious, with 3 good rooms. We especially enjoyed the garden, pool and lemon tree. It was easy to drive out to the many beautiful cities and hikes.

Everything was amazing, Shirley she was so kind and showed us everything about the house, recommended restaurants I couldn’t ask for better days, the weather was okay and we had a little problem with the hot water but Shirley, she came in 5 min and solved the problem, very good quiet place. From the first moment, Peter was accessible and eager to help us see all the sites that surrounded the town of Lousa. The house is fantastic and although it is a bit old it has everything you need for day to day, especially with children. The terrace with a barbecue and pool is a plus. At night we felt super comfortable surrounded by nature and without a single noise. The house is cool and has games for the kids, a lot of fans, millions of things in the kitchen, everything you might need and even a baby high chair. It's a super quiet area but exploring the surrounding area is a must. Peter helps a lot by recommending cool places and restaurants to eat or have breakfast. We'd be back for sure.

A lovely old-style apartment in a beautiful villa!

Pete and Linda are the best hosts we've ever had on Airbnb. They both went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, from local restaurant recommendations to pool toys and everything in-between. Our daughter had an amazing holiday! The house itself is charming, with tonnes of space and everything you could need. The pool is fantastic and well kept. The local area is remote and beautiful with gorgeous countryside everywhere and some charming river beaches. I managed a run down from the house to the beach and back a couple of times but it's pretty hilly. In short, we couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks

Spectacular experience! From the time of booking to check-out, Mrs. Sonia and Mr. Rui were impeccable with us. Always very attentive and responsive to any questions we had. The house itself is spectacular and matches the description/photographs. We were super happy with the choice and the conditions. The location of the condominium is very good. It's in a quiet place and 20 minutes from the big hypermarkets. The neighborhood is super friendly, and access to the pool is definitely a bonus. All this culminated in a great week of vacation! Definitely an experience to repeat. I highly recommend Mrs. Sónia and Mr. Rui to anyone who wants to visit Tomar and/or take a relaxing vacation, far from the chaos of the city!

Paula really goes above and beyond to make it as comfortable as possible. What a sweet, nice woman and what a nice house it is. We were there in a rather wet period and in the house it was cold. But there was enough wood for the stove and she came to bring us electric heaters for the bedrooms. We also didn't arrive until 12:30 at night and we had communicated that so there were fresh eggs and sandwiches in the house in the morning because the village was rather remote (which is wonderful for peace and quiet). But we also learned that a bakery came by at night and that you could put a bag with a note in it and you had fresh bread in the morning! I can tell so much, but you have to experience it yourself. Anyway: Paula is a winner!
