Great place in a pretty and private environment! Perfect quinta to relax before going back to work! The owner was really responsive and friendly, giving us privacy too. Awesome stay and highly recommended!

Domingo and his wife Olinda are absolutely gems that I will always treasure in my Heart! I had a lot of questions initially before booking and they were kind to answer everything I needed to know! My stay was super peaceful, the little house was cool on a warm summers day and I slept very good in the bed! It was a blessing to receive home grown yummies from the farm (Potatoes, tomato, apples, grapes, herbs...) and I took some walks into the stunning nature behind the house. I would return there in a heartbeat. The only thing I did not check before booking (which turned out to be a good thing) was that theres NO WIFI - this would't bee something for working travelers that rely on good internet. Also I'd only book in the summer as theres only one coal oven in the kitchen but no other heating in bedroom. This stay is ideal with car. I stayed 5 days without car and I was so grateful that Olinda took me with her to farmers market and supermarket so I had enough food for my stay :) Loved it

At first I was a little scared because I checked the location on Google maps and it's not easy to find, but I decided to believe that everything was going to be fine and it was! It's a beautiful place, super private, with beautiful views of the whole area and super close to the Fragas de Sao Simão, which is a very close river. To tell the truth, it was an incredible surprise. Whenever I want to spend a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this will be the favorite place for me and my family. A special thanks to Mr. José Barroso and his wife, although they could not receive us on the first day, they were there on the day of departure, and they were super friendly and helpful. The first day we were greeted by Mr. José Antonio, a local who was also very kind and understanding of the situation that we did not speak the language well. Thanks!

Bianca and Gavin’s home in Pedrógão Pequeno is a hidden gem. Their warm hospitality made us feel instantly at home, and the lush garden filled with fruits was an absolute delight. The house is peaceful and beautifully maintained, nestled in a charming village where we met the kindest neighbours. A truly special stay that left us feeling refreshed, connected, and grateful. We like the house very much. Huge, well-equipped and well-kept. Excellent space for families with pets, lots of outdoor space. Andrew was extremely friendly and helpful, quick to respond and generous in letting us check out late. The tree swing was a huge success! We recommend and will come back!

Fernanda's place is wonderfully Cool... it's clean, smelly, comfortable, nice, super in peace and quiet. Perfect for resting and enjoying the region. Fernanda is a great host and so is her pets. It's a place to feel at home... Loved it! For me it's 5*... I'll come back whenever I can, as it will be my favorite spot in Dornes 🌹💚🩷

we had a fantastic time at Eva's home she was very warm amd responsive. My husband and I went with the 3 children and there was enough space to accomodate us all. The pool was welcome from the heat of Central Portugal, the garden and Parrot were a treat. It is a place you can go back to and stay and the price was affordable. Thanks Eva xxx

The lovely Jessica and her husband welcomed us so warmly to a stunning apartment in a perfect area! The apartment is new and renovated, clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated The hosts are lovely and made us feel right at home. Please note that the apartment is not in a central area, we did shopping before in Tomar and in the morning we visited the river near the apartment. This is the best Airbnb apartment I've ever been to! Looking forward to returning to Portugal to come back!

Pete and Linda are the best hosts we've ever had on Airbnb. They both went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, from local restaurant recommendations to pool toys and everything in-between. Our daughter had an amazing holiday! The house itself is charming, with tonnes of space and everything you could need. The pool is fantastic and well kept. The local area is remote and beautiful with gorgeous countryside everywhere and some charming river beaches. I managed a run down from the house to the beach and back a couple of times but it's pretty hilly. In short, we couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks

My family and I had a lovely week with Denise and her daughter. The apartment was lovely bright and spacious, with 3 good rooms. We especially enjoyed the garden, pool and lemon tree. It was easy to drive out to the many beautiful cities and hikes.

Relocating to Portugal from UK, we needed a comfortable place to stay for a few weeks, while we found our feet and looked for a longer term rental property. During our stay, we also needed to be able to work from the house as we run an online business based in UK. The WiFi at the property was excellent so we had no problems at all. Tiago’s home is fantastically well-equipped and a real gem of a retreat for those looking to enjoy stunning scenery, high up in the hills among beautiful forest land as far as the eye can see. From the front door, it’s only 50m to one of many trails through the forest so we enjoyed many walks with our small dog, especially down to the superb river beach at Troviscal, only 30 mins on foot (although a bit longer coming back up the hill). To be honest, we slightly underestimated the distance to nearest town Sertã but it is still only 20-25 mins to the nearest big supermarkets. And the charm of living in this rural community is turning your back on all that.

Beautiful scenery. Perfect for a mini-vacation with all the conditions and tranquility. We took our dog who loved all the space so he could run and play.

Perfect accommodation, everything you need! Calm location, super peaceful! Highly recommend if you are wanting a getaway surrounded by nature.

It was a wonderful weekend. Even the neighborhood was very welcoming. Thanks to Mr. Manuel for the wine and sausage tasting. Firewood ready for heating the house, large spaces such as the living room that was great for meals as well as for playing with the children or conversations with adults. Super creative decor that makes us feel at home. Flexibility in check-in and check-out added more unforgettable moments in the house. We want to go back.

We had a lovely stay at Scott and Linn's place. The apartment was sparkling clean and we felt completely comfortable. The scenery is magnificent and the silence of nature has done well. Scott and Linn are wonderful hosts and had lots of lovely tips for us. Also for our dog it was nice that she could move freely on the property. The house dog Feta is also a very sweet animal, which got along well with us and our dog. Thank you very much for this beautiful time.

This house is a real gem, an impeccable experience, from the lush nature to the quality of the olive oil offered to guests. And as if that wasn't enough, they also offered us some essential items for breakfast, in addition to a delicious bread that arrives in the morning during the stay. Mariana was very kind and helped us with everything that was requested. My boyfriend and I love everything and want to return many, many times.

The accommodation was very good and cozy, everything was clean and organized. The hostess was very kind and attentive. We know the waterfalls that are not incredible. I would definitely go back there

We loved the space, the pool water is heated so when it was windy, it was better to be in the water than out. The area surrounding the pool is also very pleasant. We fell in love with the inflatable unicorn and loved meeting 🐶 the friendly dogs and cats in the neighborhood. The game room was fantastic, we loved the pool, the air-hockey sometimes got stuck a little but it was excellent, the ping-pong also delighted us and the giant screen made all the difference in our marathon series evenings. Andy is fantastic, attentive, helpful, friendly and very welcoming. There were 4 of us, one with reduced mobility and in acute pain in the kneecap, and this person was not able to enjoy it as much because there are stairs to climb to the house, inside the house to the living room and also outside to the game room.

The location is spectacular. Great for those who just want to relax and enjoy nature, from enjoying the morning sun with a beautiful landscape to enjoying the starry sky at night. The house has all amenities for a comfortable stay. Thanks to Francisco, who was always available for whatever was needed.
