We had a very quiet stay. The space perfectly matches the photos: it is clean, calm, slightly isolated and at the foot of the Serra, exactly as we were looking for. The amenities and services provided were in excellent condition, with the exception of the barbecue, whose grill was dirty and rusty. However, this did not compromise our great experience!

Liliana is attentive and took away all my doubts, left us many fruits and also cleaners . The house is big and very well-equipped, it had everything to cook, and spend 5 quiet days. There is heating in the bedrooms and a fireplace in the kitchen and also in the basement. The house is equipped with games, dishes, machines, utensils, absolutely everything. The surrounding area is very calm, the view is beautiful. But there is nothing to do in Pera, in Castanheira de pear there is already some trade. It's really a house to go to rest, go hiking and isolate yourself .

It was spacious, well equipped and better than the photos depicted. Alison and Rod have renovated this property with love and care and provided everything you need and more for a relaxing stay.

O Nuno through the Place of Borralheira transformed the Passover of the Rocha family. Everything impeccable from house instructions to places of interest. It was all done in a super easy and affordable way. At home everything went beyond the spetatives, because when you get there you know that you are at ease and that on the other side is Nuno always ready to help. Nuno has always made himself available at all times to make them easier since instructions to the house, or to serve as a guide in various points of interest. I safely recommend this stay. An oasis of peace and a very enchanting property with its own charm and character. We enjoyed our stay, friendly and open-minded people, James cares and cares wherever possible. Rarely have we felt so welcome and comfortable. The cleanliness and amenities are excellent. In nearby Vila de Rei you will find everything you need. We would love to repeat our stay in the future, we miss it already.

Our stay at Maria José's place was excellent. We stayed in studio 2. The space is very cozy, very comfortable, tastefully decorated and has all the amenities to enjoy a few very pleasant days in Serra da Estrela. Maria José was always very helpful and also very kind. We traveled with our 16-month-old baby and Maria José was quick to provide a crib for our girl. And finally, we still had a little treat waiting for us. We really enjoyed it. We hope to return soon.

From the first moment, Peter was accessible and eager to help us see all the sites that surrounded the town of Lousa. The house is fantastic and although it is a bit old it has everything you need for day to day, especially with children. The terrace with a barbecue and pool is a plus. At night we felt super comfortable surrounded by nature and without a single noise. The house is cool and has games for the kids, a lot of fans, millions of things in the kitchen, everything you might need and even a baby high chair. It's a super quiet area but exploring the surrounding area is a must. Peter helps a lot by recommending cool places and restaurants to eat or have breakfast. We'd be back for sure.

Friendly and responsive hosts! Amazing place! Everything very new and working well. Beautiful views of the city, right in the city center and about 25 mins from the ski mountain. Very clean and had all amenities we needed! Definitely worth it!!

Very quiet place, the host and his wife are charming. We were with 2 babies 1 year and 10 months crying, shouting, buzzing… and there were never any problems. Always good face and very attentive with children. The pool is very well. There are animals by the pool in an orchard and pen. Highly recommended. They offer a breakfast included in the price that is wonderful. Nearby, about 8km there is a town with 3 large hypermarkets. It is 40-45’ from any point of interest by car. Very good place.

We had a really nice stay here. The views from the pool are incredible! The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of trails a short drive away. My partner used the canoe and went out on the lake. The owner lives next door and is very relaxed and friendly. We took our dog and she got on very well with his two dogs. If you have a baby it’s worth asking in advance if you need a cot as we didn’t do this and one wasn’t available. If your baby is very mobile it wouldn’t be very safe on the pool deck as there is a big-ish drop.

Pete and Linda are the best hosts we've ever had on Airbnb. They both went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, from local restaurant recommendations to pool toys and everything in-between. Our daughter had an amazing holiday! The house itself is charming, with tonnes of space and everything you could need. The pool is fantastic and well kept. The local area is remote and beautiful with gorgeous countryside everywhere and some charming river beaches. I managed a run down from the house to the beach and back a couple of times but it's pretty hilly. In short, we couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks

Very kind and helpful, understanding to our specific check-in needs since we needed to arrive a little later and he even started the fireplace ahead of time. He went above and beyond, getting us a tart pan so we could make a dessert after we just had the silly will to do so

We had a problem with our car and got to walk to a beautiful spot just outside the village and the near by mechanic fixed it super fast. A great place to stay and go out to the different beauty spots around. Highly recommended.

We had a beautiful time at Helen's place. The studio is huge and very light and airy. The apartment was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. The house is in an area of natural beauty with loads of hikes and river beaches nearby. We were just 5 minutes drive from the local town where we found some really nice little bars and also some fantastic authentic resteraunts. We had a wonderful time exploring the area and also enjoyed time relaxing by the pool and admiring the nature surrounding the house. A great place to watch the stars as there is so little light pollution. It is a great getaway for people who find romance in the tranquility and peace of nature. What really made our stay so magical was Helen's hosting. She greeted us with a smile and spoiled us with fresh produce from her garden. She let us know where to go in the area and simply took excellent care of us! We can't wait to return!
