Carla's little house was the perfect base to explore the area and surrounding villages and friends. It was such a beautiful quiet space close to town but outside just enough to enjoy the countryside and views. We had a very happy time here and the house had everything you could want or need for cooking and relaxing. Just perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay. :)

Everything was great just like in the pictures. Ana Raquel and her husband are charming... I brought a 2-month-old kitten and there was no problem, a very quiet area and a very large park next door. I'm sure we'll repeat for longer. Thank you for everything.

My family and I (wife and two kids (13 and 16) spent three days over Chistmas at the house. it was the absolute perfect place to spend the holidays. The house is very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and was perfect for us to prepare the full Véspera and Christmas Day meals. There is even a local bread delivery service and the legendary Sera da.estrela mountain cheese made from local sheep available close by. Loriga is a beautiful mountain town and should not to be missed. From the beginning Senhor Tiago was extremely helpful and friendly. We are so grateful to have been able to spend our Christmas in such a fantastic location. We can't recommend this house more highly!!!!

The house was as shown in the photos . A very quiet village to rest and close to many places of interest . Teresa was very kind .

Our stay at Nuno's place was simply perfect. The house is beautiful, decorated with great taste and attention to detail. The sheets were a delight, one of those little things that make a big difference! Everything was spotless and fully equipped with what you need (and more) for a comfortable and relaxing stay. But what really made this place special was the views and the absolute peace that is breathed. It is a true refuge to disconnect and recharge. My only regret is not to have stayed more nights. We will definitely be back!

The house is very spacious, with several environments and can accommodate a large family easily. There are 4 bedrooms and several rooms with beds/sofas, all rooms with air-conditioning/heating. The outdoor space is immense and our dog loved exploring it every day. Easy communication and very friendly hosts 😊

Casa dos Poetas is an amazing experience, in the middle of the village, the cozy house, indicating and would undoubtedly return.

Very nice place to stay with a large family for a few days. Private pool was great, nice and clean. Huge kitchen was full of comforts and wonderful to eat with the family. Too bad there was no living room around the fireplace. There is a special room that is full of kids toys and my son loved it! Only downside, but there is little to do about it because of the layout of the house, is that there is no toilet around the pool or on the ground floor. You have to go up at least 2 flights of stairs and the TV's only worked in the rooms. But for the rest great and we are already looking forward to come by soon.

Carla's place is perfect for a getaway both as a couple and as a family as it was our case. The apartments are very well equipped and the spaces are spacious. The common areas are great for big meals and parties. The pool area, with music is fantastic if you go in the summer season. The kids had a great time with the horses too. And being able to book a few massages in the space, it was quite a bit.

House with history, beautifully decorated with contemporary design combined with vintage style. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and all with well-equipped private bathrooms. Well air-conditioned building. The house is well equipped to house large groups. I recommend it.

From the moment we arrived home we felt welcomed by Dona Ana. It was all as described and even better. The house was super comfortable, prepared for the cold and with everything we were entitled to. Many games, books and full kitchen to spend Christmas. The house was in a quiet region but it had everything around. Exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for all the reception and affection. We already want to book for next year. It was a pleasure to spend Christmas in Proença - a-Velha.

This place is absolutely heaven on earth. josse, who host us was very friendly welcoming and kind. his hospitality was more then extraordinary. it was easy to get there by car, the nature around is absolutely stunning and breathless! the river is few minutes walking. the house is comfortable, clean and the acoustic is great with a lot of privacy. nice place to come and relax. for the ones who like to hike is also great for that. the aria full of options. the closest super market is 20 min away also easy to find! we had a great time, and it's highly recommended!

i can't think of a better place to stay if you are looking for a place to stay with such a large group. I can't think of any criticism. This listing exceeds all expectations in every way. I can recommend this accommodation to everyone if you want to stay with a large group.

Great house for groups of friends! A wonderful room near the pool and well equipped where we had meals, the pool was well maintained and a barbecue was available. Clean house and the host is always available for any questions. We were 8 adults and 3 babies and we really enjoyed it.

Our stay at Casa da Quinta da Azeitona was much more than we could have expected and in a very positive way! The house is located in a fantastically beautiful location, with a wonderful view of the valley south of Serra da Gardunha. Every part of the accommodation and pool area was thought out to the millimeter and with great affection and appreciation by the hosts so that each guest feels at home! The bedrooms and living room have good areas and efficient air-conditioning, which brought comfort during the hot days. The pool and surrounding area are very well maintained and quiet. Concern for the environment is evident in the use of renewable energy throughout the property. Mr. Luis and the whole family have been fantastic since the first contact. In short, the accommodation is a hidden gem in a magical place called Vale de Prazeres and to which we will return for sure. We never thought that a stay could surprise us so much and leave us with so many good memories!

We were looking for a place to spend a few quiet days with the family and that's exactly what we found - a spacious, beautiful, new, well-decorated house with a great pool, a lawn area for outdoor activities and a barbecue, and an excellent room to chat and play some group games. Fully equipped kitchen, air-conditioning in all rooms and lots of light. To be repeated!!

Relocating to Portugal from UK, we needed a comfortable place to stay for a few weeks, while we found our feet and looked for a longer term rental property. During our stay, we also needed to be able to work from the house as we run an online business based in UK. The WiFi at the property was excellent so we had no problems at all. Tiago’s home is fantastically well-equipped and a real gem of a retreat for those looking to enjoy stunning scenery, high up in the hills among beautiful forest land as far as the eye can see. From the front door, it’s only 50m to one of many trails through the forest so we enjoyed many walks with our small dog, especially down to the superb river beach at Troviscal, only 30 mins on foot (although a bit longer coming back up the hill). To be honest, we slightly underestimated the distance to nearest town Sertã but it is still only 20-25 mins to the nearest big supermarkets. And the charm of living in this rural community is turning your back on all that.

The home was comfy and in the most stunning grounds with views across the entire valley. The pool is beautiful and clean and the grass of the garden lawn is beautiful. Inside has a lounge which is rare in Portugal as well as comfy beds and plenty of space. The showers are quite narrow to get in and out of but that is the only small negative I can think of! Joao is also lovely and always on hand to help when needed.
