Vacation rentals with breakfast in Sertã

We had a very pleasant stay ath Shay's place. They used up the space optimally, and as result the apartment feels spacious and cosy at the same time. They also are very accommodating and did all what they could to make us feel home despite the unfavourable weather. The apartment felt somewhat better insulated than most houses in Portugal, which for us has been a great plus. Overall, very glad to have been their guest.

Super friendly people. Gave us great recommendations for restaurants (try Pachamama!). Dropped us off for an awesome kayak trip in their boats. Breakfast was delicious.

Top place to camp, enough private space in the green valley to put a tent. Possibility to join a delicious breakfast buffet, where Liedewij takes our dietary requirements into account. Also the dinner was generous and very tasty. Our dog was able to run around there and was welcome.

Domingo and his wife Olinda are absolutely gems that I will always treasure in my Heart! I had a lot of questions initially before booking and they were kind to answer everything I needed to know! My stay was super peaceful, the little house was cool on a warm summers day and I slept very good in the bed! It was a blessing to receive home grown yummies from the farm (Potatoes, tomato, apples, grapes, herbs...) and I took some walks into the stunning nature behind the house. I would return there in a heartbeat. The only thing I did not check before booking (which turned out to be a good thing) was that theres NO WIFI - this would't bee something for working travelers that rely on good internet. Also I'd only book in the summer as theres only one coal oven in the kitchen but no other heating in bedroom. This stay is ideal with car. I stayed 5 days without car and I was so grateful that Olinda took me with her to farmers market and supermarket so I had enough food for my stay :) Loved it

So much more than expected. With great attention to detail - metal rods attached to old train rail steps ensure you neither slip or fall, lovely decorative pieces and tranquil garden spaces with comfy furniture - Mariana has set the tone for a relaxing, peaceful escape. We had an incredible at-home private chef #SenhorCohinheiro. The beds are comfy and our two goldens loved being outside (we were in rainy season so we didn’t let them near the rushing river) but I assume it’s wonderful fun in the summer when the water is low. Excellent week spent at a very quiet and quint little house. Amazing service with breakfast delivered each day. Fantastic walks around the area with home grown veg and fruit plentyful. I Would recommend a stay here for peace and quiet.
