Townhouse

Simply gorgeous place, in a place where you can really unwind and take in the world. One the best stays I ever had truly.
A black and white cat is seated on a stone surface, with an old wooden door visible in the background. The weathered door features peeling paint and rustic textures, contributing to the overall charm of the scene.

Mountain house with lots of peace

LarisaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
This house and the people who live in the village of Arnado will stay in my heart forever. The most spectacular and unforgettable vacation of my life. These are magical places: mountain rivers, mountains, forest, waterfalls. We stayed with our family. It was a detox from the hustle and bustle of the city and gadgets. Birds singing in the morning, the sounds of a mountain stream. The house has everything you need: nice dishes, comfortable beds, TV, each bedroom has a bathroom, hot water, and even a dishwasher and washing machine. The hostess of the house Ana became our family. She helped us with everything, we are very grateful! She took us on a tour, replaced the dishwasher when it broke, brought groceries. Ana is a man with a big heart. The village of Arnado is home to wonderfully kind and generous people. It was like we were in a big family where we were welcome. A baker and a fishmonger come to the village, you can buy fresh bread and trout. Also in the village the production of mountain honey. In the next village there is a restaurant with delicious paella.
A cyclist is seen maneuvering across a stone bridge that spans a gently flowing stream. Lush greenery surrounds the area, with trees providing dappled shade over the cyclist. The scene captures a peaceful outdoor setting, highlighting the natural beauty of the surroundings.

O Paxar

BridgetRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Amalia is a brilliant host - she was welcoming and friendly and responded immediately to any query. The location is great for cycling and walking. It’s an easy walk into the town of Samos where there are bars, two small shops, a post office and a hotel with a good restaurant. There’s plenty of private parking space and a big secure room to store bikes etc. The weather was not great for some of our stay so we particularly appreciated the comforts and cosiness of the house - central heating and a log burner, limitless hot water, comfy beds and sofa, good wi-fi and nice lighting. Thank you Amalia for an excellent stay.

The barrier - Home from above -

DeborahRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We enjoyed our stay very much. Javier was so very friendly and helpful. He helped us navigate our way to Seceda which was in fact quite easy. The apartment is very comfortable, fitted with an excellent shower and the bed was so comfortable. Javier has lovingly restored his apartment, it’s is a real credit to his craftsmanship. We had a delicious supper brought to us, all using local produce. It’s a great place for hiking. We highly recommend a visit.

Family home on the Camino de Santiago

SabineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It was like coming home to your parents. Not everything is brand new, but it is very cozy. The house is spacious and nice and cool. Has an extensive fully equipped kitchen with a nice BBQ, bathrooms with a great shower and good beds. A garden! You can park nearby. Quiet with a beautiful view. In addition, a host who responds quickly to our questions. We are also spoiled by our hostess and host with bread, sweets, coffee & milk for breakfast. Renting for at least 3 nights is just planning, but combined with a rest day during the Camino we had a perfect stay. I can recommend it to everyone.
A cozy bedroom features a spacious bed adorned with a patchwork quilt in soft, muted colors. Stone walls provide a rustic charm, while two bedside tables offer practicality. Fluffy towels are neatly arranged at the foot of the bed, and a sleek lamp provides warm lighting.

Good directions and very friendly at all times. The accommodation is beautiful and very quiet. A very nice area with beautiful views.
A handcrafted wooden bridge spans a clear, gently flowing stream. Lush green grass surrounds the area, while a stone house with a sloped roof is visible in the background, nestled among trees and hills. The picturesque setting reflects a serene, rustic charm.

Casopo da presa (Balboa)

GabrielRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Highly recommended: the house is a small work of art, cozy and very beautiful (authentic rural crafts of the region), the gazebo located in the meadow behind the house and next to a creek is a delight (breakfast, meals, dinners, barbecues, card games, books, evenings ...), the village is very well located (nice valley, several excursions, river beach, easy access to towns and surrounding areas) and surprises the offer it presents (eaten well and at ease! ... do not forget to inform yourself of the musical offer it presents, if it is interesting you will be surprised!). The best: the treatment and attention of Juanjo the landlord (thank you!). The worst: it will surely not be easy for it to be available, it is quite requested :-) PS: We spent 11 fantaticos days in it :-))
