Great hosts, great place, beautiful scenery, highly recommend!

I have spent quite a lot of time looking for a perfect accommodation for my family in the Bergen area. The time was very well invested! Erlend’s house is a wonderful place. Perfect for family with kids, people who would like to have both, the closeness to a very nice city and the nature. And for persons who love cats. Roses, the cat of the family is amazing. We were there without a car, it is doable if you do not have overly ambitious plans for your activities. Erlend is an extremely helpful and accommodating host and reacts quickly. We can absolutely recommend this accommodation.

Very nice private place on the Norwegian fjords, city centre easy accessible by car. Perfect place looking for those who appreciate quietness !

We had a very nice stay in a nice home! Perfect for our family of two adults and three children. Extra nice with Christmas tree, Christmas decorations and Christmas snacks on the table when we arrived - two days before Christmas. Everything as expected and great communication along the way. We felt at home:) several shops right nearby and easy by bus or track to the city. Otherwise quiet neighborhood with nice view.

My rating is 10 out of 10 — it was an amazing stay! The house was absolutely spotless, very warm and comfortable. The host, Lars, is a very welcoming and kind person. He met us and picked us up from the nearest bus stop, as we were traveling around Norway by public transport. He also kindly offered to drive us to the airport, which was especially helpful during the Easter holidays. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and quiet, to relax both body and soul, and to enjoy the stunning Norwegian landscapes. Hiking, fishing, and barbecuing are all great ways to spend time here. There is a bus stop just a one-minute walk from the house. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the center of Bergen, and the buses run right on schedule — booking tickets online is the best option. A special thank you to our host Lars for being so attentive to his guests — and for the fresh eggs!👍

A great place to stay if you're driving from Bergen to Stryn! 30min drive to Bergen city center. the apartment is on the second floor so please expect stairs. everything is cozy clean and warm in the apartment, a lot of greenery, well equipped kitchen and modern rooms. Irina is super welcoming, would love to come again.

Eldrid is one of the kindest and most accommodating hosts I've ever had the pleasure of staying with. She answered any questions we had, had the space clean and neat, and we had several nice exchanges with her during our stay. Would recommend to anyone staying in Bergen!

A lovely and well equipped apartment to come home to after a day exploring the area and Bergen. The cute cups and vases with flowers, so thoughtful! We felt very much at home; the kitchen is able to cook very fully and nicely. Thank you Anders and Anne for hospitality!

Dear Gunhild, We thank you from the heart for the wonderful time in your apartment. From the very beginning, we felt very comfortable. This is mainly because you immediately feel that you care about the guests and their well-being. It started with the very warm welcome, even though it was already after midnight, and continued with the detailed tour of the spacious, cozy and very well equipped apartment. We lacked nothing, neither in the bathroom nor in the kitchen, everything was perfect! In addition, your always noticeable care: The fresh and well-filled fruit plate, the free, filtered drinking water, your inquiries about our health, the rental of umbrellas and the many nice conversations and so on. We lacked nothing! At most a little sun or at least snow, but nobody can do anything about the bad weather in the Norwegian winter. Thanks again for everything!

We were very satisfied with the accommodation and with the communication with Siv who was always very responsive and kind! The view from the house is breathtaking, the accommodation is easily accessible even without a car. We highly recommend this listing!!!

Accommodation close to Bergen, about 15/20 minutes. Very large 3 bedroom house. We spent 4 nights there and we felt like home, 😍 it's really ideal and there is enough space, a large terrace brief than happiness!

We had a great stay at Lillian's place though admittedly we spent much of our visit walking around Bergen rather than relaxing inside this cozy home. I wish we could have done more of both. The location is GREAT and is within easy walking distance to harbor and to the train station. I don't have much to add to the other positive reviews, but I think it is worth noting that the living area/kitchen is on the second floor with a spiral staircase so if stairs are an issue for someone, this could be problematic.

Comfortable spacious apartment, fantastic location for everything you’d want to do and see in Bergen, lovely few days there.

It's a nice hut, everything is as described. We had a few difficulties finding the cabin at the beginning, as no direct road leads to the cabin. The surrounding area is very nice, but the nearest town is a bit further away. In the cottage you will find everything you need for a perfect winter vacation. Communication with the host went well.

We have been here before and wanted to go back because there was plenty of space and good location. As more useful, the contact with the host was excellent. Unfortunately, we were very unfortunate with the weather, but got some time skiing, plenty of time to play games and the opportunity to explore Norheimsund.

We have had a wonderful mini winter holiday in this cozy log cabin! There we had everything we needed. Well-equipped, tidy and clean. With beautiful nature on all sides, mountain forest, rivers and lake. Hens roaming around the yard, cows, cozy play area outside. We had a pleasant and quiet stay here and would love to come again! Highly recommended. Kristin is a helpful and accommodating host.☺️

Great views, great place, nice to walk around. Easy to check in, parking close to hoyse. N.b. just to note a small minus- lots of owners things in wardrobes, so you will have to keep your things in the luggage 🙂 But would still recommend this place!

The cottage was beautifully located – surrounded by nature, with fantastic tranquility and a real wilderness feeling! Everything was super prepared, clean and cozy. We felt really comfortable and would come back any time. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a wonderful trip and stay. The house is an absolute dream and just as beautiful as in the pictures. We felt very comfortable, like at home. The location is perfect, quiet and beautiful. Our host Linda is very attentive and friendly, we will be back very soon. That was my best Norway experience so far :)
