Vacation rentals with a kayak in Seneca Lake

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Mara’s home was beautiful, clean and the perfect place to stay for a relaxing long weekend away. We’d love to stay there again and will definitely be recommending!

Loved the place! The sunset view by the lake with a fire will remain in my heart. Russell was very kind with several sweet gifts. He is a great host!

This Airbnb was the perfect fall getaway! We visited the lake to soak in the autumn vibes, and this spot exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for our group of five, and the host’s recommendations made our trip even better. While the area is known for summer fun, I think fall might be the best time to visit. We had an amazing time exploring the charming shops, cozy restaurants, and stunning waterfront spots, plus the nearby vineyards are a must-see. Can’t wait to return next year when the leaves are changing again—absolutely loved our stay!

Beautiful views, super comfortable home, great hiking close by, convenient drive to shops, and peaceful. Just an all around nice place to stay on the lake! Was able to watch my daughter sail with her team across the lake and get her to and from the Cornell campus very easily. Ata was great and very responsive! We’d stay again!!

The location is extraordinary; right on the lake facing Ithaca. Bedding, linens and house were super clean. The spaces fit our group perfectly. We had a great visit!

Great place for our group. We had 9 adults and 2 kids. Enough space to not feel on top of each other. Those with children really appreciated the amount of amenities in the house for them: crib, toys, books, etc. Really appreciated the local recommendations and access to kayaks/paddleboats. Very responsive if you have a question or need a rec on what to do/where to go.

Due time was a great choice for the Finger Lakes. House was even better than we expected and well appointed. Would love to stay in the summer when we could take advantage of all the amenities. As it was it was perfect for our family Easter Break wine tour. Definitely would stay here again!!

Absolutely perfect rental. The house was extremely clean. Very comfortable beds. Gorgeous view even on a rainy weekend! Close to many wineries and restaurants and a short drive to Geneva. The price was better than many as well. I would absolutely rent this property again!

We had a wonderful stay hanging out near the rivers edge. We were provided with ample firewood and smores as a welcome gift :) very thoughtful. We look forward to coming back during summer to do some kayaking

Location, location, location! Right on the water, hot tub was great, comfortable place and it was just perfect for us. We loved the local wineries and other activities and it was so nice to come back to that beautiful lake view at the end of the day. Thanks so much Nick and Chrissy! The cottage was just beautiful..right on the water. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen ready to set up housekeeping. Brochures available for area activities. The 1 bed available is able to sleep around 6 people ..lol.. the bed was very comfortable. There are other pull outs for sleeping.

Such a sweet little cottage tucked away above the Lake. Beautiful views from the deck, bedroom and living room! Quiet and serene yet close to all of the places we wanted to visit! Made a great landing spot for a relaxing and fun weekend! Thank you!!

Beautiful location! Kitchen and living room space wonderful with great views of the lake. Lots of stairs to get in and out, since it’s nestled on the slope near the docks, but we got our steps in! Also located close to the scenic falls and parks, and very convenient to Cornell Campus and downtown Ithaca. Host was super too. We had everything we needed and more.

We celebrated my best friends Bachelorette here and the place was just perfect! It was so peaceful and had the best amenities! I will definitely book here again!

Our stay at Kara’s was wonderful. We rented the house and the bungalow, both of which very clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. The pictures are exactly what you will get. Well decorated, comfortable furniture, and washer/dryer in both units. We spent lots of time in the water, and having kayaks provided was a bonus! The porches were great for meal times together and playing games. The beachfront was awesome for getting in and out of the lake, especially with the kayaks. Location was super. Just over a mile into town, so close to grocery store, etc.. We loved our stay here and would definitely book again. Kara was super responsive!

What a wonderful getaway! The lake cabin, fire pit and lake views were perfect and exactly what we needed. It was quiet this time of year and the view of the falls leaves on the mountain were stunning! The cabin was clean and well-stocked. Communication was a breeze and the hosts lovely! We were so glad for this gem of a place and owners.

My time here was very relaxing and worthwhile! The cabin was cute, cozy, and the land was beautiful. I loved sitting by the pond and having my morning coffee. If you walk to the edge of the woods in the morning, you can see spectacular sunrises because of how high in the valleys you are. I came during spring before things bloomed, but I would totally come here again during the fall or summer.

Nancy’s cottage was perfect for our little family of 4. We enjoyed card games on the back porch, meals al fresco w a beautiful lake view, and of course roasting marshmallows in the fire pit at sunset. The cottage was intimate and cozy and we hope to return on a regular basis. Thank you Nancy for being inviting and more than accommodating.

I was in for a long stay with work. This place was very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed the scenery of the lake and nature surrounding the house. House was very clean and up kept nicely as well. Thank you for the stay and absolutely recommend!

Had an amazing time at the serene location.. the cabin was cozy, clean and exactly like the description and pictures! Loved the time spent by the fire pit, making smores. The ping pong table added to the fun! Great place for unwinding close to nature. Thanks to Sarah for the prompt communication and support :)

Beautiful property in a stunning location! Cabins are small but very efficient. Beautiful sunsets at the dock. A great landing pad to explore the area.

My friends and I had a great weekend here! We especially enjoyed having fires and hanging out on the dock. Perfect location and was only a 5 minute drive into town. The cabin was just what we needed & I would definitely recommend to others.

From the moment we arrived, Ken, the host, made us feel at home by giving us a tour of the stunning property and showing us all the wonderful amenities. The cabin itself was incredibly cozy, spotlessly clean, and had such a warm, inviting atmosphere. We loved that there was both a cabin and a bungalow on the property—it gave us so much space to enjoy. One of the highlights was the firepit that Ken had already set up for us, along with a delightful s'more bar. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our nights by the fire extra special.
