This was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. I went with my fiancé and our two dogs. Everything was perfect- we had privacy, easy access to local attractions including Westcave Preserve and Hamilton Pool, and the view is stunning. Hummingbird feeders line the porch and they are constantly being visited by the birds. Creek access requires some physical ability but is doable. The cabin itself had a master on the first floor and lofted second floor with two beds. The bathroom was clean and the refrigerator was stocked with bottled waters for us to drink. Patti and David are lovely people, and we look forward to coming back and staying again.

Came here with my partner for my birthday. We had so many plans to go do things for example going to San Antonio. We decided just to stay and relax after getting to the bunkhouse. We enjoyed the privacy, the peaceful surroundings and all of the nature. Loved the set up of the house. It was a very cozy vibe, and it was lovely to be able to take a bath and that huge tub water was definitely hot and enjoyable. Seeing all of the animals was such a plus the sunsets are breathtaking. We even got to experience a little storm and that was awesome being Stuck in the house watching a movie and just enjoying our time. Would definitely recommend staying here especially if you’re wanting to get away from the city life. We would definitely come back. Also the town Boerne was very cool. Had a lot to do for it being a small town we recommend trying the huge cinnamon roll the size of your face at Richter Bakhaus. Relaxing in the pool with that view is something we miss and hope to experience again soon

This cabin was the perfect nature escape! We spotted a rare woodpecker, flying squirrels, and even a family of foxes—truly magical. The trails and creeks were peaceful and fun to explore, and the cabin itself was cozy, art-filled, and very clean. The porch was even better than the photos, and the jetted tub was perfect after long hikes. Only suggestion: a couple more towels would’ve been helpful. Otherwise, it was perfect—we can’t wait to come back!

Third time renting and I always enjoy staying here to get away for a weekend and get some fresh air and sun. River was higher than normal and we took advantage of it. Wildlife is abundant, a pair of owls graced us with their presence each evening once the sun went behind the trees. Perfect trip.

Words can't describe this stay. Bring right on the river, kayaking, swimming, the sheep/donkey/goats and the fire pit were just what we needed to unwind and detach from city life. Incredible stay, and we will definitely be back.

Cozy stay in a great location. Minutes away from plenty of establishments. Host was very friendly and welcoming, felt right at home.

We had such a wonderful time at Chickie's Roost. It actually exceeded expectations. The space was perfect for two of us for the weekend. It was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed the horses, chickens, and of course, Sable the cat. Lavonne is a fantastic host, very responsive and friendly. We felt right at home, and we want to visit again!

Rebecca is a lovely host was responded quickly from my initial inquiry to follow up questions. Check in was easy and the space was cozy, clean, peaceful, and my favorite part was getting to feed the cows. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning for a visit.

The property is absolutely gorgeous! I wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night. The guest house was beautiful. Everything was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and felt so relaxed and refreshed by the time we left. Would 100% recommend this place and we will absolutely stay here again when we return to the area. Tiger and Christina were gracious hosts and have done a fabulous job of creating a warm and inviting home away from home.

This property was beautiful! The treehouse was so cute and the floor to ceiling windows in the living room and bedroom had stunning views. The cowboy pool on the deck was fun for the kids to dip their feet into. Pet friendly, and our doggies enjoyed the morning hike exploring. Definitely recommend!!

I am obsessed with this sweet little house! My husband and i spent our 7 year anniversary here and it was so perfect and sweet. The drive was beautiful, the roads to get there are just beautiful. The house stands out as soon as you see it! The boho interior decor is just my style. My husband called it the Princess house! The lake access is unbeatable. We never wanted to leave and plan on coming back every year to celebrate our anniversary.

Pictures don't do it justice . It is welll decorated and very clean! Jeff has thought of all the little details including to go coffee cups. The location" in the country" is peaceful. It's not too far from downtown and Stickyards. We went to the Pier at Augie'sand watched the sunset. Stunning! We will be back.

Juju’s came highly recommended to me by two couples I am close friends with, and it did NOT disappoint! I had the most peaceful, relaxing time enjoying the beauty of the land, and all of the amazing seating the house had to offer while I was reading the books I brought. It was such a relaxing time, and I never wanted to leave. The house has such a sweet history and I appreciate that Matt + family are willing to share it with everyone. I’ll definitely be back!

We have stayed here twice now and have loved it both times. It’s private, peaceful, luxurious, and beautiful. All the benefits of being out in the hill country but close enough to all the fun stuff in Fredericksburg. Can’t wait to stay here again!

This is our 2nd time to stay at PJ’s Hideaway, and it was another great experience! Patti’s place is very clean, well stocked, and spacious. We love the layout of the cabin and the outdoor porch. The property is peaceful, private, beautiful, and perfect for bird watching and relaxing. We enjoyed the short drive to Garner State Park. The hosts are kind and helpful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 — Pure Magic in Pearl River! Wow—what a stay! From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d found something special. The log cabin is extremely clean, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The downstairs bed was incredibly comfy (we didn’t even need the upstairs, though it looked amazing!), and the kitchen had everything we needed. The vibe? Total peace and quiet—just what we hoped for. We stayed put most of the time, soaking in the woods, blueberries, and deer (we counted 29!). It’s wonderfully secluded, so be ready to enjoy nature’s soundtrack. Morning coffee on the couch or patio was perfection. The fire pit is stocked and ready—we’ll definitely use it next time. Bill & Karen are awesome hosts: warm, responsive, and non-intrusive. We celebrated our 30th—our “pearl” anniversary—in this true "pearl" of a place in "Pearl" River. One of our all-time favorite Airbnb stays. Thank you! We look forward to coming back again!

We visited Scarlett’s place on a Saturday-Monday to celebrate my son’s 4th birthday and we fell in love with this peaceful home. We truly felt like it was a home away from home. Our kids loved the alpacas, sheep and goats on the property and it was extremely helpful that Scarlett had more feed delivered for us the next day so we can continue the fun of feeding the animals! Loved everything about our trip! We don’t live too far away so we will be back often!

Where to begin? Deanna and David were the most gracious and kind hearted people, let alone hosts, we have ever come across. We wanted a peaceful retreat for our family to reset, it we couldn’t have imagined a more positive experience. The house was immaculate, yet perfectly quaint down to every detail. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and even gifted our 4 year son some mud boots when they found out we forgot to bring some. They showed us around and shared their fresh honey from the bee hives, which was amazing! We even got to collect fresh eggs every day for breakfast! We were able to create lasting memories watching our son enjoy the zip line, rope swing, huge yard to run around in, hit balls off the tee, play with his water toys, play in the mud, and simply be a boy. As a family we were able to enjoy dinner around the table every night, watch rain storms together, do our daily devotionals every morning on the front porch. Honestly, picture perfect

Tammy was incredible when it came to accommodation, we showed up late and made sure that everything was perfect when we arrived. It is so secluded and really ensured that we had everything we needed. We loved everything about this location and just the peace that came with knowing that we were taken care of was incredible! An absolute gem to stay at!

The river is beautiful! Can spend all day walking down it and watching the fish and large variety of birds! A really great spot for skipping rocks and just enjoying nature!

Peppers place was very serene and relaxing. I had mentioned that we had a toddler and she was very accommodating of removing anything that would be breakable and fragile. Definitely recommend 10/10. She even brought us the chocolate bars for the s’mores herself. Very friendly and accommodating.

Peaceful and tranquil stay! The cabin had everything we needed. Excellent instructions and recommendations from host! Favorite part - comfy beds and the garden turtles that were at the pond behind the house. We’ll be back!

I can’t say enough good things about this cabin! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, cozy, and exactly as pictured — if not better. The setting was peaceful and secluded, surrounded by nature, which made it the perfect escape from the city. The cabin had every amenity we could have needed — a fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, Wi-Fi, and even thoughtful little touches like board games and coffee. We especially loved relaxing on the porch in the mornings with a cup of coffee and enjoyed making s’mores by the fire pit at night. Our host Katie was incredibly responsive and kind, with clear check-in instructions and great recommendations for nearby restaurants. Whether you're looking for a romantic retreat or a quiet solo weekend, this place is a gem. We’ll definitely be coming back!
