Storybook Castle BnB

Sheldon Castle is a registered Baldwin County Historic home. It is a unique, artistic structure right in Fairhope but secluded on a side street. The Eastern Shore Art Center is down the drive and across the street. From there you are in wonderful downtown Fairhope. The studio suite is a completely private part of Sheldon Castle with the Sheldon descendants in the rest of the home. Mosher Castle with a moat and dragon is next door. Our guests are invited to walk the grounds of both castles.

Take the kayaks to the bayou for a nice paddle where dolphins play. Screened porch for coffee, drinks or a meal outside. A fisherman’s/nature lovers dream and truly unique rental experience at this creekside cottage with water frontage on deepwater Hammock Creek. Close to the beach but out of the congestion. We have a multi level backyard with gazebo with swing, fire pit and huge deck. Fully enjoy the wildlife and outdoor activities.

Come visit our 100 year old Farmhouse. It has a unique history. It was a brothel and gambling establishment during the prohibition era. It’s even been rumored to have been visited by Al Capone and a US President! Today, it is a charming hobby farm filled with vintage flair and cozy spaces. We offer a suite of four rooms with a private entrance. There are two bedrooms, a living room, and a private bathroom all on a dedicated second floor. Lots of privacy, and you can enjoy the grounds.

Edna's Barn

Experience country charm in addition to convenient location- just 1.1 mile off interstate 10! Grocery stores and your favorite restaurants are also close by but you’ll get a good nights rest in this quiet neighborhood. It’s around 35 minutes drive to beaches depending on traffic. The barn was built in the eighties and housed chickens, rabbits and a cow but was repurposed as a dwelling in 2004. Completely modernized in 2022, you can enjoy a unique space with all the comforts of home!
