This cabin was perfect for the 2 of us. We really like places with privacy and beautiful views... and this place had that which we thoroughly enjoyed. The king bed upstairs was very comfortable. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your cabin. We would definitely like to come back in the future.

Loved staying at Freedom Yurt! Very relaxing, clean, and peaceful little get away. Loved how different it was staying here but didn’t break the bank. They gave recommendations on places to see, eat at, etc. which was great to have!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin for our anniversary! The location was peaceful with stunning views of Canyon Lake. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. We loved the outdoor area and how close it was to nature. The host was very kind, responsive and flexible, couldn’t have asked for a better host experience! We’re definitely coming back! Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and unwind! We also took a trip to San Antonio, and the drive was perfect for us!

This place was absolutely gorgeous! Hands down the best place I've stayed in a long time! Would have stayed here longer if time permitted;definitely coming back and bringing more friends. Furniture & amenities were quality and comfortable. AC was almost too cold, but it made the bed that much more comfortable. Pool on site was beautiful and we enjoyed the outdoor sitting area the most.

We had a great stay. The place was just as described. Beautiful setting. Lots to do on the property - cooking out, hot tub, relaxing on the porches and s’mores in the evening.

What a beautiful vacation away from the busy city life. This bunkhouse was well equipped for relaxation including a beautiful view, lovely plung pool off the deck and a gorgeous bathtub that you could swim in with a rain shower next to it that was just as luxurious. The beds and linen were comfortable. The refrigerator is on the smaller side, what you’d expect with a bunkhouse but it was adorable. The driveway is 1.5 mile hard packed dirt but very well maintained. There is a plethora of wildlife along the way so keep your eyes open! The hosts are responsive and extremely helpful and nice! Will return again when in the area!

Karen's place is conveniently located just minutes away from Gruene, but tucked away in the quiet country part of the area. This was great, cozy place for one or two people. Definitely worth the cost. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay. It was very peaceful and quiet. She thought of everything we may need and had it provided in the cabin. Lots of very clear instructions, it was wonderful. We nice for a quite getaway

Wow this was such a great lay out and space for the square footage. super clean and in short driving distance to many places (HEB, restaurants and Greune). Neel was super responsive and detailed in the arrival notes. Would stay again for sure!

This is our 2nd stay at the Hay Bale Cabin. This cabin is close to our granddaughter and her family, which makes it great. We love to be this close, and we will be renting this cabin again and again. Stephanie is such a great host and very proactive to make sure we had the best stay in their beautiful cabin. If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay this is it! We had a wonderful time at Starlight :) Host was easy to contact and friendly, great local recommendations. The grounds were spotless, the pool area and amenities were top notch, the cabin had a huge front porch with comfortable seating. The cabin itself was clean and had warm vibrant colors and boho decor. Loved it! They even allowed us to check out later. We are planning to come back in May for my birthday:) thank you Liz and the rest of the crew at starlight for opening your home to us. We can’t wait to come back and visit

I can't say enough great things about Micky and Vicky. They were awesome from start to finish. The day before our stay we found out that the original cabin that we booked had been accidentally double booked. We had originally booked a two bedroom cabin for my wife and I and another couple. Micky and Vicky called us and said that, due to the double booking, they were going to put us in two other cabins. One for my wife and I and one for the other couple. When we arrived and saw that those two cabins were too small for us we called Micky and Vicky. Understanding our problem the quickly offered to trade with us. Micky and Vicky would stay in the small cabin, and they allowed us and our friends to stay in their private 3 bedroom residence. That's right. They allowed us to stay in their own private residence while they loaded up their animals and personal belongings to move to the small cabin during our entire stay. How's that for customer service. They were absolutely the best hosts ever.

Really fantastic place. Staff was superb. Easy going and easy to navigate getting in and situated. Quiet at night. So close to the water. AC was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Great quiet location on the river. Very comfortable relaxing space. Very clean and organized, had everything we needed, loved the large shower. Nice to be able to bring my small dog. Enjoyed the double patio doors allowing full view of the back yard and river. Would definitely book again if in the area.
