A corner of Norwegian paradise. This place surpassed itself. Yes the pictures look amazing, because this place IS amazing. Look no further. We stayed with our 3 year old mand 5 month old. The view from the house is hard to be beaten with the water lapping up to the property at all corners. Watching the crystal clear reflections of the pine trees on the water. Watching the sun rise and fall on the water. The boat was a big hit, you can swim from the house (albeit chilly), but then the best shower will warm you up again. So many little spots to sit and soak up the tranquility. The best air bnb we’ve ever stayed in for location that’s for sure! Elisabeth is a fab host, is very welcoming and quick to response. We had the most amazing time here. The cabin is in a beautiful place, and you have a lot of privacy. If you are not used to a lot of height difference, as far as driving is concerned, it takes some getting used to. But it's definitely worth it! The cabin quickly felt like home and in the area is beautiful nature. Hege is a nice host and provides a lot of information about how to get there and what to do. We were there in the beginning of April. When the snow, in the higher places, is melting. It was great to see spring bloom!

Great place! we had a fantastic stay. beautiful 2 story farm house with great scenery. highly recommended for those who want some peace and quiet.

Amazing location in the mountains with no neighbors. West facing cabin so you have sun the whole day. The hot tub is a great place to relax. The cabin itself was very cozy with all the modern comforts available - electricity for charging laptops etc. Nothing was missing and lots of firewood to keep the hot tub heated. A hidden jewel is what the place felt like. We will definitely come back😊

Fantastic hytte, clean & very cozy. What an incredible view to eat breakfast to! The more direct road to Gaustatoppen was unfortunately closed for the winter (so the drive around was 1.5hrs), but Tommy & Kristin were very nice to write us many recommendations that were more close-by. They even gave us a heads up that there were some Northern Lights in the sky! Wonderful hosts & would definitely come back again :)

Lovely surroundings by a super functional cabin! Would love to come back! Here you can stay peacefully alone, and at the same time with the extended family. Plenty of space in the main cabin, with everything needed ++. Annex w/sleeping area and small kitchen/living room right by the main cabin . The outhouse was more than good enough, located in its own room in a room, with lots of wood and aggregate for electricity available. All rooms are furnished for well-being, thoughtful, and smart solutions. Large patio with perfect space for all kinds of weather. The view is impeccable. Raw and wild nature! Many opportunities such as fishing, mountain hiking, paddle board, rowing tour, barbecue, swimming, skiing, etc. Sjøormen Selma is about 40 minutes by car away, at Seljord. Great for the youngest with history and visits. The convenience store open 24/7 is about 20 min by car. Many stores of various kinds in the center of Seljord, where you will find everything you need ++. This is a gem in the mountains, and perfect getaway from town(s). Recommended, definitely!

We had a great stay at the cabin in Kviteseid. Communication with Martha was smooth and easy. The cabin was very comfortable and well-equipped — from a cosy sofa to relax on in the evening to a comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep. What I especially appreciated was how exceptionally clean everything was upon arrival – truly spotless. As a bonus, we got to watch deer passing by the cabin every evening, which made the experience even more special. A peaceful and well-maintained place that we would happily return to.

Very nice apartment and so clean, so nice to come to such a clean place.. Everything what you need in the kitchen to make food. Nice and cozy place. Owner very kind and with fast response. Highly recommend this place! 🩷

Lovely little house in a nice location. Quiet and beautiful! The host was welcoming and we felt very well received. Must be said that it can get something cold in the evening/night in the more cold months. But proper clothing and good thick duvets that we got made up. Thank you for a great stay!
