This is a beautiful, tranquil location and lovely home. DM is a very attentive host, almost like a mom :) There were a lot of thoughtfully tailored touches that welcomed us and made us feel at home, including some really lovely breakfasts. It made for a very nice, cozy getaway with a lot of nice perks - massage table, firepit, and a super comfortable hot tub. if you're looking to be charmed by East Sooke, this is a fantastic place for it!

In a word, incredible. This is hands down the most beautiful place I’ve stayed in all of my Airbnb travels. The home is gorgeous and the views of the strait are breathtaking. The host was responsive and kind; we had no issues during our stay and the home was more beautiful than the pictures and descriptions could even capture. It was truly an immersive experience in the beauty of nature. We will be back!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The hosts went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, warm, and welcoming. They were incredibly attentive and responsive throughout our visit. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Also the property that the bnb is on is just absolutely stunning with a mountain backdrop and greenery all around. You can really tell they care about their guests’ experience. Also, the sheep were so cute and friendly! Highly recommend and would 100% stay again!

This is the second time we have stayed at The Hikers Den. It was a great location to The Olympics and great restaurants. Love the comfy and woodsy decorations as well.

As described, would’ve taken more advantage of the nice outside space/ grill had weather permitted but the hot tub was divine. Nice cozy spot from which to explore the stunning surroundings.

A very wonderful stay! The place is clean and beautiful with nice view of cliff and forest, giving us an unforgettable memory of barbecue night under the clear bright moonlight.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Sean’s place. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood located near down town Sooke. All the amenities were there and the house was beautiful. We will definitely recommend his place to stay!

We stayed at Heather and Robs place for 3 nights and it was absolute bliss. It was great to be able to bring our dogs and be provided with pet bowls. The house was spacious and perfect for our family of 4. We spend 3 beautiful days on the beaches around the area and truly enjoyed every minute. This was not our first visit to Port Renfrew so we were prepared with food and drinks but as a heads up to anyone not familiar with the area, it is remote and there are not a lot of options to eat out in the off season. We did enjoy a couple meals at the pub but loved having the full kitchen to be able to prepare meals at the house. Highly recommend this place for a getaway. The view is breathtaking from the kitchen, living room and dining area. You could spend all day just watching the wildlife from the comfort of your Airbnb. Thanks so much, Heather and Rob!

Our family had a wonderful time staying here. We truly appreciated the kayak activity—it’s something we’ll remember for a long time. We loved everything about this place. The cabin in the trees is so unique and cozy—definitely our style. We also explored the nearby bays and beaches every day; they were absolutely beautiful and peaceful. This has definitely been one of our best Airbnb experiences. Thanks again!
