My family and I had a wonderful stay at Fernanda and Carlos’s home. They were extremely welcoming upon our arrival, and we enjoyed talking with and getting to know them! The house itself is bright and spacious, and my family enjoyed the views of the garden from the bedrooms and main living area. The property is incredible. We loved exploring the apple and pear orchards, tomato garden, forest, and fish ponds. Most mornings and evenings we saw deer in the yard. Our last morning we saw a buck and a doe at the pond in front of the patio. We also liked wandering near the large pond in the back and watching the fish. Over all, my family and I truly enjoyed our time at Carlos and Fernanda’s home, and are thankful we spent time there.

The setting is really bucolic. We enjoyed this peaceful and atypical accommodation. It was very clean and the instructions were very clear. The SPA is a big plus to continue resting in a beautiful place. To be redone

An amazing place to escape the hustle and bustle of Paris, only 30 minutes by train. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by forests and lakes, and the house perfectly matches our expectations. Julie is very nice and always ready to help. We would definitely stay there again! :)

A little slice of heaven 1 hour 15 minutes from Paris. Ultra functional house, everything is available on site, everything is well thought out. Recommended for a nature stay for couples/family!

Very warm welcome and comfortable rooms. For animal lovers! The accommodation was ideally located to attend our friends' wedding at the castle.

Jaqueline was incredibly responsive and friendly! We felt right at home, the house is newly renovated well stocked with basic amenities and the photos don’t do it justice. Our spaniel was very happy in the garden too which is large safe and secure! The area is very peaceful with stunning buildings and It’s so close to the beautiful town of Barbizon which has so many great restaurants and shops. We also enjoyed the town of Fontainebleau which isn’t as charming but has a great market and lots of shops! We hope to come back one day!

This gite is very nicely located when you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful stay in Ille de France. At the end of the road you’ll find this wonderful place. Frédéric is very helpful and friendly and always responds in minutes. He has nice tips for activities and sights to see. There is an excellent bakery within walking distance in Saints so you can get the full French experience with fresh croissants in the morning.

We were 3 couples and stayed 4 nights. The setting is beautiful, the house is located in a large wooded park. Crossed by a small river. It's beautiful, quiet, and restful. The accommodation is very functional, the rooms spacious, nicely decorated. The hosts are very welcoming, attentive and available. We discovered the region and enjoyed walks in the forest and by the ponds. Great stay!

We had such a wonderful stay with a group of friends. The house was super peaceful, & surrounded by nature - we loved watching the swallows all day & listening to the owls at night. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable living spaces, and a great location for morning runs to the bakery in Larchant & nearby climbing crags. We had a great stay at Sofia's in Fontainebleau! Communication at check-in was flexible and personal, which made the start very pleasant. A small downside was that we did not receive any instruction in waste separation or similar topics, but that did not spoil the stay overall. The place was extremely clean and well maintained. We especially liked the excellent layout with bedrooms, each with their own bathroom – perfect for a group of 8 people. The living room and kitchen are functionally furnished, although the kitchen furniture and electrical appliances are a bit outdated, but this hardly affects the comfort. The outdoor area was impeccable. The porch offered beautiful opportunities to stretch hammocks, and the outdoor kitchen was impressive – unfortunately, we could not use it due to the weather. Sofia, it was a great pleasure to be your guests.

Ideal for a business trip, as it's easy to park with a large vehicle and, in the evening, you can relax by the pool!
