Surrounded by vines and at the foot of the Northern Black Forest is our beautiful barn. A place where families can relax and unforgettable adventures await in front of the barn door. Altschweier is a cozy wine village with great excursions in the area (Gertelbacher waterfalls, Mummelsee, Baden-Baden, Freiburg, Europapark Rust, Strasbourg). Donkeys, goats, sheep and chickens live on our farm. On request, we offer farm tours and donkey hikes.

Explore local hiking trails or discover the Black Forest and the nearby mountain bike trail by bike.

Waldhauser farm barrel

The heated Waldhauser Hof Fässle offers a unique overnight experience. The quiet retreat is designed for two people and has a cozy double bed, a seating area, storage space and a kitchen corner with a wash basin and refrigerator. Outside, a seating lounge invites you to relax. A dry separation toilet is located next to the barrel. Please note that there is no shower. Ideal for those who enjoy nature and want to relax!

Lovers of Northern Alsace, you will be seduced by this unique and romantic getaway. Our accommodation, true to the motto "small but nice," is located in the small Sasbachwalden surrounded by the breathtaking mountains of the Black Forest and offers a lot of relaxation, adventure and pure life. In the vicinity is the nearest ski resort just 15 minutes by car from the apartment. The beautiful Mummelsee is also a 14-minute drive away and invites you to take leisurely walks.
