Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Sea of Marmara

we were looking for a peaceful place in Istanbul close to the sea and mountains and forests. This is the best place for this purpose. So we got completely relaxed there. Moreover, the location is very organic- you may buy fresh milk straight from Turkish village citizens, freshly baked Karadeniz bread from the local old lady who is making herself it, you may buy fresh groceries there. Black Sea is 10 minutes away by car. The place is also close to both Asian and European parts of Istanbul. About house- the housekeepers are very helpful and empathetic, whenever you need help, they can do that. We did not know that the house is well-equipped so we brought our dishes, containers, shampoo etc. However, everything was there. Overall, we had amazing experience there with our kids. thanks to this place for that

I stayed 2 nights with my wife and child. It was a great place to stay for us. The house and garden are even more beautiful than they appear in the photos. You use the same garden as the host, but there is no privacy issue. There are tools and equipment at home to meet your needs. The host Mr. Hüseyin is a friendly, pleasant and helpful person. The atmosphere of the village where the house is located is also very nice. It is very pleasant to sit in the village coffee shop and drink tea and coffee. We are leaving happily. It was a mini holiday that we enjoyed very much, we spent 3 very peaceful days. It is a place where you can fully relax and enjoy the sea. The house is clean and tidy, the host Mr. Murat was a wonderful person with his smiling face, his advice and his help in everything we wanted, and I can't forget the fish he prepared himself... it was delicious :) It was a house that we would definitely want to go back to, thank you very much for everything.

Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

This is a beautiful and peaceful retreat. The place is modern and updated. It is in a fisherman’s village with lots of character, friendly people and spectacular nature. The hosts are kind, responsive and hospitable. I had the time off I needed and I’d love to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Basar was super responsive and made checking in/out and everything in between very convenient. The apartment was comfortable and welcoming and the surrounding community was very peaceful. 10 minutes down the road is a larger town with lots of restaurants and shops. The apartment is attached to a family home so there are normal family noises but they were very considerate. A great place to stay for visiting Troy & other nearby sites. Highly recommend!

A house with a spacious porch in a beautiful location. But it is not possible to go down around the stream, it is quite steep.

I stayed here for 6 weeks while I worked at a hospital nearby. The place is in a great location, with lots of cafes restaurants nearby. The house itself although quite small is lovely, cosy and clean. The view is amazing and the home was very well equipped for short term stays. I also felt very safe staying there as a solo female, security was great. Mehmet Selim was also very attentive and responsive. 10/10

A very nice accommodation where a view over the city on the large roof terrace was possible and magnificent. In addition, a lively area within walking distance. The apartment was extremely clean.

Balat has it all and just a quick tram ride to the beating heart of Istanbul The apartment was so quiet The shower was amazing The beds were comfortable The kitchen was well stocked We had a gorgeous lounge to relax in An all over 5 star apartment I thoroughly recommend a stay here of at least 4 nights

I’d recommend this little gem! 1000+ yr old building, be a part of history

We had a very nice stay. Volkan replied immediately, gave clear self check-in instructions, and there was always 'staff' nearby who could come to the apartment within 15 minutes if we needed help. When our toilet didn’t flush upon arrival, someone came to fix it right away. When our toilet paper was almost finished, we received new rolls. The apartment is brighter than it appears in the photos, thanks to two street-facing windows. I had feared it would be too dark, but that wasn’t the case. The location (New European Quarter) is great—close to Galata Tower, Taksim Square (full of restaurants and shops), and fancy hotels like the Pera Palace, where Agatha Christie wrote Murder on the Orient Express. Do note that the area is noisy both day and night, and the flat is not well insulated against sound. Streetlights prevent full darkness, even with curtains. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs and a sleep mask. Bus, metro and train stops are 3-10 min away—leading to the 'Old city'.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great stay! The apartment is conveniently located a stone's throw from Istiklal Street, which allows you to fully enjoy the lively atmosphere of the city center while being quiet at night. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The host was very responsive and welcoming, with good local recommendations. I would definitely recommend it for a stay in Istanbul!

Compared to the accommodations where I have had many Airbnb experiences before, it was definitely a much better experience. Onur and Aslı's communication is very high and they do their best to make the guest comfortable. This is a place that we would prefer if we go to Assos again and that you would recommend to our friends who go.

I had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. My wife and I really enjoyed our time at Keenan’s bungalow. Kenan is a very friendly host and is very helpful. The place looks exactly as you see it in the photos. It is in a quiet area that is nice and relaxing. We hope one day we can return and stay at one of Kenan’s places again.

I can say it was one of the most peaceful holidays I've ever had. We felt at home thanks to the location, the amenities, and the interest and relevance of the host.

The location of the house, the historical textures around it, its spacious and peaceful garden, the fact that it is in touch with nature, its attentive decoration... everything was almost fairytale. The environment is very authentic and calm, every detail is thought out. Since we stayed in April, nature was awakening; the sea was beautiful, the days with the sounds of birds are different. We really enjoyed it. The hosts, Ms. Başak and Mr. Celesay, were extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful people. Thanks to them, we felt very comfortable and safe. It was a short vacation for us but very good for our soul. We sincerely appreciate everything.
