Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Scituate

This is hands down our favorite AirBNB. It is as beautiful in person as it is in the photos. The location is so special and the interior is designed with the best New England style. It’s really an amazing experience. The amenities are great and the home is very comfortable and cozy.

I stayed here for a two week visit the Boston area and it really was the perfect place for the trip. Great spot to just relax inside for the day or take a walk to the beach or storefronts, but also pretty good access to Boston itself via the ferry. Nice decor; I especially loved the tide clock by the door. The interior is on the smaller side for a house (you stay in the upstairs half of the unit) so it might be cozy with a larger group or family. Overall I'd highly recommend this location and wouldn't hesitate to stay again in the future.

This is a beautiful and spacious home with New England charm and in a great location. The house looks exactly as pictured and was spotless. The rooms were well appointed with lots of space to sit and relax. It’s perfect for visiting this beautiful area of MA. Michael is a responsive and helpful host and very considerate of his guests. We would absolutely stay again and can highly recommend this home for your stay. Five star all the way.

I wish I could give it 6 stars! This is a wonderful home and great for a family get away. It is close to an amazing beach and cute restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay! The house is very clean and well maintained and we were greated with fresh flowers and a basket filled with snacks and wine. The kitchen has everything you will need. Richard was an amazing host and very responsive and flexible! Great experiance overall! I don't think you will find a better place.

Marybeth’s home was exactly what me and my family wanted. We wanted a cozy place far enough from the city, but close enough to easily drive into Boston. Since I like to cook, I was immediately impressed with the kitchen and all its ammenities. I did not want for a single kitchen tool or appliance. Everyone commented on how the beds felt - warm and comfortable. Loved the back yard and the grill. Great communications. Easy check-in and easy check-out. Highly recommend Marybeth’s BnB.

We had a group of 7, spanning 3 generations, and cannot say enough good things about Dune Side and James! The house was immaculate, comfortable, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed - and so much more. The wrap-around deck was perfect for morning coffee, evening wine, and watching the kids play in the surf. The beach is RIGHT there. You have unbeatable views from almost every room. We cooked several nights of our stay and found the kitchen well-stocked and enjoyed the nearby grocery store. Several great restaurants around for the nights we didn’t want to cook. The beds were comfy and everyone slept well after long days of fun on the beach and exploring the surrounding area (Boston, Plymouth, Cape Cod, New Bedford). James responded quickly and was beyond helpful with recommendations. I cannot say enough good things about him as a host! We loved our time, would recommend this to anyone, and hope to return. Area favorites: The Point, East Bay Grill, & Gunther Tooties.

A Peaceful Getaway at Rocky Neck Allie’s place was exactly what we needed. A peaceful, cozy retreat that gave us the space to truly reconnect. Tucked away in a beautiful spot, it felt like a hidden gem. Everything was warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully set up. Highly recommended for anyone looking to slow down and find stillness.

I wanted to take my mom to the Boston area and settled on just south of Boston I was lucky to come across Asha’s Airbnb listing. We had the most wonderful relaxing enjoyable stay far better than any hotel in the area . The house is exactly as stated super well appointed. Asha thought of everything to make guests comfortable and we truly enjoyed three days of beautiful sunny weather… So much so that we did not even set foot in Boston. Asha, thank you for a five star stay and we will definitely be returning maybe even this summer

Great place. Just as advertised. Would definitely stay here again. Easy walk to the train, no need to rent a car to enjoy all Boston has to offer!

Christin is an exceptional host and this property is really special. Spacious, and incredibly well-appointed with a playful mid-century modern vibe. The deck boasts a lovely view and this beautiful space was just what we needed during a hectic, family event-driven visit to the area. Christin is super-communicative and considerate host who anticipates guests’ every need—and then some! From a well-stocked kitchen to her list of local go-tos for food, drink, pampering and fun, she provided it all before we even thought of it. There was even a bottle of celebratory bubbly chilling in the fridge when we arrived. A top Airbnb experience!

Beautiful place with a beautiful view. Whole place is up to date. Close to airport and easy access to the train. Edward was very responsive in timely manner. Great host. Would stay here again!

My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful time visiting Boston and Ryan's place made the travel and exploration so enjoyable. It's an 8min walk to the subway and it's super easy to hop lines! The area is really comfortable too, Target and Stop&Shop are an easy walking distance for extra groceries or anything else you would need. I would recommend anyone to stay here, as the place is small but comfortable and incredibly homey.

My family and I stayed at Chau’s place for a few days while visiting relatives in Boston . We had a great experience; the unit was clean, spacious and fully stocked with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The host was helpful and responsive and the surrounding neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We would highly recommend this Airbnb rental for everyone looking for a convenient and safe place to stay in the Boston area.

Had everything we needed, was really comfortable and a great place to explore the area from. Highly recommended and will be back if we are looking to stay in the area again.

We had a wonderful time !!! Dave and Diana are great hosts everything was better than expected. They let us know that the apartment was ready for an early check in ( we really appreciated that) Such a comfortable home with a beautiful view!!!! The home is stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was so easy living there we didn't want to leave. We were in the area to visit our grandchildren and having them over to the lake was perfect!!! God blessed us with beautiful weather and the house was stocked with beach towels, bug spray , sunscreen and snacks. Kudos Diana for thinking of everything👍 The grandchildren give the place a 5 star review and are calling it " our lake house" We only wish 😃 Thank you for sharing this wonderful place we hope to return again.

This was my first Airbnb experience and I was so pleased. Erin was very helpful prior and had clear and concise instructions for check in. I had a specific reason for staying in this location but I would definitely consider staying here again if I need to be in the area!

The house is well-set up to accommodate guests. The neighborhood is safe, residential and with free-lines streets. Near Arnold Arboretum it is a beautiful area. The bathroom and bedroom are really clean and clutter-free which was so refreshing to experience! Anna is incredibly responsive and even when I needed assistance in the early morning hours she was available. And when I returned home late one evening on an unseasonably hot day she offered to turn on he air conditioning and then proceeded to install a window unit in the room in less than 19 minutes. She made great coffee in the morning and provided many suggestions for transport and getting around generally; and she walked me to the nearby bus stop on my first morning in the house. The house is large enough to house multiple guests simultaneously but I hardly overlapped with them. I’m very appreciative for the pleasant experience.

Everything about my stay was exactly as represented in the description on Airbnb. Anna was very attentive and we had a nice chat over coffee before I left in the morning. It was quiet and clean, and in a lovely neighborhood.

So we returned Boston to take our flight and no doubt we chose to stay in Anna’s place again. Anna has done wonderfully to make all her guests feel at home: the beds are so comfy, rooms always clean and kitchen facilities ready and nice to use. Thank you Anna for providing such a warm place!

The room was comfortable and clean and exactly as advertised. Anna was very responsive with questions and they were really flexible with check in and check out time which was helpful.

The location was centralized to places we needed to go to and easy to get to from the freeways/highways. Very peaceful and beautiful area with excellent views of the bay. Kate was a very gracious and welcoming host.
