Small Paradise above the Walensee

Guests have a separate apartment with their own kitchen, bath and living room but they share the same entrance to the house with the owner. All the surroundings of the house can be used by the guests. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, electric stove, cooking utilities (inclusive herbs, vinegar and oil) cutlery and tableware. Food needs to be brought by the guests. The nearest store is a 30min drive away. A Fondue-Set is available upon request. There is also a Nespresso machine inclusive capsuls and an open fire place right next to the house. The main bedroom includes a double bed (1.40m) and there is another separate room with a single bed, inclusive bedding. The bathroom comes with towels, shampoo, shower gel and a hair dryer.

The Studio-Pfauen is on the main street, 5 minutes from the center and 10 minutes from the train station. It is furnished for 2 people and is located on the 3rd floor with its own entrance. Suitable for bicycle and/or motorcycle drivers as our workshop is located on the ground floor. If you book 3 nights or more with us, you will receive the Appenzell holiday card with approximately 40 attractive free offers, as well as round-trip travel by public transport in Switzerland. The approximately 400-year-old farmhouse, which is located at almost 700 meters above sea level, was partially renovated in 2019. The rustic base was skillfully combined with modern elements. The house is ideally furnished for family vacations of up to 6 people. Of course, groups, couples and individuals are also very welcome.
