Monthly Rentals in Schwaigen

Marion's place was a really wonderful space to spend a few blisteringly hot June days. Despite the heat (and the top-floor venue), the place was cool and airy. Marion met us in person and showed us around - her English was great and she had lots of useful local tips. The place iteself was just like the pictures - with a balcony for the morning sun and a second for the afternoon sun. A little brook, running alongside the apartment, helps enhance the view and make the place feel really special. Town was a quick drive/10-minute walk away, as was the cable car. Book now - it's ace!

They always answered my questions politely, and I was very comfortable.The bedding was particularly comfortable, and I even asked where it was purchased. Wake up to the sound of birds and enjoy the relaxing countryside.It is a good location for people who can definitely get around by car.Because we went from Munich to Murnau by DB and then by bus to the site.There were 3 buses a day, but considering the set time, it was almost like 2 buses.I recommend it.

Everything was as we expected. Right in the center of Murnau, shopping within walking distance. It takes a few minutes by bike to get to nature. The S-Bahn runs past the property, but was hard to hear.

We had wonderful days in Grafenaschau! The apartment is very nicely located, as you can travel in all directions - via the Murnauer Moos to Murnau, to the Staffelsee and up to the mountains. Not recommended without a car, however, there is no bus and the train station is a 40-minute walk. You can park there and then take the train, which runs once an hour. We were very lucky that we had sun and snow up top the whole time! Grafenaschau is very quiet, you are completely away from everything, the café is nice and the village shop very friendly and well stocked, we felt very comfortable. The contact with Miriam and Christian was very nice. Our top excursion tips: Walk around the (whole) Staffelsee, Schloßcafé in Murnau, with the Bimmelbahn to Unterammergau and on the Pürschling (cabin, very exhausting, 2.5 hours ascent, but absolutely worthwhile!), Café Krönner in Murnau, Seerestaurant Alpenblick in Uffing with magnificent lake views.
