Buitenhuysje de Roos has recently been completely renovated and is wonderfully quiet. The cottage is small but nice, about 55m2 and has 3 bedrooms. In 2022, our cottage was renovated, with a new bathroom, kitchen and cast floor. There is a fireplace and nice wooden veranda, where you can sit very privately, with beautiful views. Within 5 minutes, you can drive to Bergen or Schoorl, where you will find supermarkets, nice shops and restaurants. The dunes and forest are within walking distance, and by bike you can reach the beach in 20 minutes.

Paal 14, comfortable cottage near village and dune

Paal 14 is a cozy, comfortable, classy 4-person cottage on a beautiful avenue, within walking distance of the dunes, climbing dune, the village with shops and restaurants. It is a fully independent house with garden with lots of privacy. On the ground floor, there is a cozy living room with pellet stove and a new open kitchen, which is equipped with all comforts. Behind the house is a private garden with terrace. On the second floor are a bathroom, 2 bedrooms with 4 beds and a laundry room with washing machine.

Studio transformed into a green bird atmosphere in our garden, with private terrace within walking distance of forest & center. The Studio is one nice space, in which you will find a living room (digital TV with Netflix and YouTube), bedroom & kitchen + separate shower & toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped, from fridge, combi microwave, stove + (bean) coffee machine with cappuccino option. Welcome to our new vacation home, beautifully located in Schoorl! This cottage is built for peace and privacy. Enjoy the nice spaces with the abundance of light. From the living room, you can walk into the spacious garden, exclusively for you. In the complete, stylish kitchen, you can cook to your heart's content. The bathroom is also a nice experience, with plenty of space and atmosphere. From our cottage, you can cycle to the forest, dunes or beach. But Bergen and Alkmaar are also nearby.

Studio Mill View

This beautiful studio is located above the garage with a private entrance under the carport. The studio has a fairytale view of the mill and the fields behind the house. You enter the studio through the stairs. Here you will find a cozy modern atmosphere. You are completely private in the apartment. Behind the apartment you have your own private terrace with 2 chairs and a table. At the water you find two relaxchairs. You can park your car at the mill. Bicycles can be put under the carport.

For 1 or 2 wks: saturday - saturday: July 25th - August 8th Very comfortable. Centrally located. Trainstation & city center 3 minutes walk. Near forest, dunes and beach. Cultural activity, shops, bakeries, restaurants, pubs. Close to Amsterdam & Haarlem. A very quiet place to sleep and rest. A garden. Since we’re gone ourselves this week, we ask you to feed our cat Bibi. 🐱 You don't have to stay home for her, just leave the bathroom window open and she'll mind her own business ;)

We (Marike and Remco) welcome you and will make your stay in the cottage on the Dam as pleasant as possible, with service being our top priority. You can walk or cycle to the forest, dunes or beach. The municipalities of Bergen & Alkmaar are 10 minutes away.

De Buizerd: a super cozy, spacious guest house in the tail of a West Frisian stolpboerderij overlooking the meadows, located close to the beach and the dunes of Bergen and Schoorl. This spacious and cozy house sleeps six adults and/or children. For example, a family with two children and grandparents (who have their bedroom and private bathroom downstairs).
