Die gemütliche Ferienwohnung liegt im Souterrain mit direktem Zugang zur großen überdachten Terrasse und Blick auf das paradiesische Ruhrtal. Die 45 m² große behagliche Wohnung ist modern und neu eingerichtet. Vom Küchentisch blickt man direkt durch das bodentiefe Fenster in den Garten und zur Ruhr.

Land of a Thousand Mountains

You are in the Sauerland, a region where hiking or cycling is a must. Even the Sauerland pool is in the village. Otherwise, just peace and beautiful landscapes with many refreshment stops. You can swim and sauna in the village or go to Hennesee, about 25 minutes by car. We are very quiet, almost at the edge of the forest and in the center, about 10 minutes on foot. If you want to go shopping, go to the next village of Schmallenberg. We only have discounters!Restaurants are in the village.

Outdoor fans, take note! On our farm we have just the thing for you: A cozy wooden car with a loft bed (1.40 m) and sofa bed (1.20 m) and a shepherd's wagon with a large lying area (2 m x 2.20 m). There is also a shower house with toilet in the meadow. Our ducks and pigs live right next door. There is electricity. Wi-Fi is available in the farmhouse 150 meters away. There you can use a kitchen. Breakfast basket (also vegetarian) can be booked for €9/person

The over 700 year old castle Haus Bamenohl is hidden behind old trees in the middle of an idyllic park in the heart of the Sauerland hills. As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. It is quietly located in the Höhendorf Schanze (720 m NN) on the Rothaarsteig in the middle of a wooded hiking area. The location is ideal for peace seekers who want to relax in beautiful nature, as well as for hikers and mountain bikers. In winter, skiing (ski lifts in Schmallenberg and Winterberg), cross-country skiing and sledding are possible.

The flats are on the 1st floor, each with 2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower, kitchenette with oven, fridge with freezer compartment, filter coffee machine, TV, free Wi-Fi and balcony. A washing machine is available for both flats for a fee. Cot and high chair by arrangement. Bed linen is included and a set of towels is provided free of charge. Prices are plus 2,50 euros visitor's tax per person over 14 years of age per night.
