Old Forester's Lodge at Lindewitt

Take a vacation on historic grounds. Since about 1848, the old forester's lodge has stood here on the ruins of Lindewitt Castle with its castle moat, of which unfortunately little remains to be seen. Owners included Count Rantzau and General von Blücher and his wife Christina Sophie Countess of Holstein-Holsteinburg. The Lindewitter forest invites you to take long walks or bike rides. The forest house is centrally located between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, on the Danish border.

The fireplace with seating is located separately on the beautiful grounds. The in-house PV system supplies the property with electricity.

Located in the border country, there is ample opportunity to dive into history or take a trip to Flensburg.

Thatched Cottage by the Lake

Welcome to our terp in Waygaard near the lake Botschlott. The accommodation is a traditional thatched farmhouse flat with a view overlooking the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marshes. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can canoe, cycle and watch the flocks of birds that use the partly protected lake as a migration and nesting site. The house was carefully restored with natural materials in 2025/2026

Beautiful studio apartment

Our beautiful 1-room apartment in the commercial area is on the second floor and can be reached via an external staircase. It is built a little special and therefore quite unique and very comfortable. An open living, sleeping and kitchen area awaits you. In addition, there is a walk-in closet and a storage room. There is also a sunny balcony. Weekend and short breaks are welcome here.

Store-Hus is located in Handewitt, 8 km from Flensburg Central Station, Flensburg Maritime Museum and Flensburg Harbor. The accommodation is 7.5 km from Flensburg pedestrian zone and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free Wi-Fi. The heater is a modern eco-friendly air-heat pump. There are 6 beds available plus 2 mattresses No bed linens and towels are provided.
