The Coach House at Noelle's Cottages

ChristopherRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful week at David and Philip's place, with our one and three-year-old children. The cottage was idyllic and the garden at the front of the property felt like stepping into our own little world. Our eldest was sure he saw fairies amongst the flowers and both kids loved playing in the safe, enclosed space. We had also asked for use of the BBQ which was ready and waiting for us and made for a lovely afternoon enjoying the space and relaxing. The cottage itself was perfect for our needs and the moveable stair-gate (top or bottom of the stairs) was a huge help for keeping our risk-oblivious explorers safe. There was lots of space for them to play in a cosy setting which felt like a home very quickly. The use of the cot and high-chair (arranged in advance) was also a huge help. The location was perfect, with plenty of indoor and outdoor places to visit (castles, beaches, gardens, Flamingo Land, Eden Camp, Forests) all a short drive away. Would absolutely stay again!

And loved the morning talks... inspiring. (let not even mention the extra help I was given when.facing last minute issue on evening). It is a stunning cottage and we would have loved to stay longer than just a weekend! The place is cosy, spacious and has beautiful views of the countryside. The host, Virginia was very thoughtful, friendly and helpful on checking and throughout the stay.

Great location for 15 min drive to Pickering then North Yorkshire Moors. Reasonable bus service to Scarborough and Pickering. NOTE Take it slow approaching from the Pickering side, sharp turn into driveway. Long terrace property end of block. Good turning circle provided. Very quiet. Downstairs and upstairs toilets.

This was our second stay at the property and it was just as brilliant as our first. Plenty to do within driving distance and a lovely local area to go walking. The property is beautiful and our 5 year old boy loved it even more than last time.
