In the foothills of the Ore Mountains, not far from Karlovy Vary and Klínovec, we have transformed a historic barn into a unique space for shared moments, tranquility, and relaxation. The location is great for trips to the mountains (Jáchymov, Boží Dar or Oberwiesenthal) as well as for exploring the surrounding area. A generous common area awaits you with views of the countryside, a fireplace, a long table for shared breakfasts and dinners, a sauna (from 09/2026), and two separate bedrooms. We have a hot tub available on the terrace (use for an extra fee).

Our lovingly designed apartment is located within a large log cabin and offers a cozy home with fireplace, kitchen in the open living area and gallery bedroom. Surrounded by the Erzgebirge, you can enjoy pure nature. Ski resorts and the Seiffen Toy Village can be reached in less than 30 minutes. The city of Freiberg, with a historic mountain parade on the 2nd Advent and beautiful Dresden are also worth a trip.

Surrounded by meadows and fields, you can enjoy rural idyll with plenty of space to play and relax. Freiberg and the Erzgebirge are within easy reach – perfect for excursions, hiking or winter sports. The apartment is on the ground floor, above which a tenant lives. I am available any time. Our apartment "Silencio" is located in the municipality of Amtsberg, on the northern edge of the Erzgebirge. The modern furnishings and unique location, surrounded by nature, invite you to relax. The apartment is located on a large property. Our home offers the ideal starting point for a variety of activities, such as hiking, cycling, city trips, swimming and skiing. In addition to Chemnitz, the two largest cities in Saxony, Leipzig and Dresden, are easily accessible.

Erzgebirge vacation home

Our apartment is quietly and centrally located in the Rechenberg district as an ideal starting point for hikes into the surrounding forests. We are easily accessible by both car and train. Rechenberg train station is only about 5 minutes walk away. The Rechenberger Ökobad is a 200 m walk away. The cross-country ski areas in Nassau or Holzhau can be reached quickly. Rechenberg is also right on the Blockline, a mountain bike route with a total of 15 stages.
