Alapiha Arboretum Guesthouse and Sauna

Cozy guesthouse and sauna in a wild wooden park. There are about 250 different species of wooded trees and shrubs in a two-acre area. The tree was planted in 1970 and forms its own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is partly still in natural space and renovation is being made in the area. For those interested, the arboretum is happy to be presented during the visit. The house crowd includes two lapin reindeer dogs, a cat, a rooster, and 9 hens. Breakfast on-demand

Lilla Hammar

A cozy traditionel Finnish log cabin next to a peaceful little lake. The cabin is placed beautiful calming area in the middle of forests. The cottage has sleeping accommodations for four (a sleeping loft and a sofa bed). There is a charming small kitchen, a fireplace inside and campfire place on outside, composting dry toilet and a sauna (no normal bathroom). The hot tube is available with extra charge (50e). Rugged ladscape of ridges with beautiful natural trails gives you wonderful hiking opportunities and even a steep hill down to the sauna and lake is an adventure. At a yard, there's Lapplandse kota with grill in the middel and minikitchen, from spycies to electric stove, you wash your dishes outside and have pure springwater to use. In shed and cellar you find all other stuff needed.

This wonderful lakeside log cabin is located 25 km north from Mikkeli. The cabin, finished in 2014, invites you to relax and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Finnish nature. It's cosy and decorated with high-class natural materials and comfortable furnishings and is fully equipped with a modern, compact open plan kitchen, two bedrooms, each with 160 cm x 200 cm beds, loft room with a king size bed, an inviting living room and dining area, bathroom, sauna, separate toilet and a terrace.

Lakefront log cottage, peaceful location w/ sauna

Experience the true traditional Finnish lake cottage life. This log cottage was built in the 1800's with hand carved logs. It is located on a beautiful lake shore with fantastic views. Here you can enjoy nature and total silence and peace just a 10 min. car drive from Savonlinna centre. You have a good chance of spotting the endangered Saimaa ring seal, often swimming in front of the cottage. Both the cottage and the sauna are just a few meters from the lake shore. Private apartment in Joensuu, Room 1

In a separate building in your own room, you can stay in peace and avoid human contact if you want. You'll have access to a 160cm wide bed, a private kph/toilet, a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee and kettle, a small set of dishes, and coffee and tea. A hot plate+ eight is available upon request. Located in the countryside near the city, along the highway, less than 10 minutes by car from the center of Joensuu. Parking is also possible by truck (please let us know in advance).

Peaceful Finnish cottage in the heartland of Saimaa, only 11 kms away from the town centre of Savonlinna. You can enjoy total serenity and swim on a private beach. The compact house has a fold-out sofa downstairs and two beds upstairs. A spacious sauna is a joy to relax in and has washing amenities. A large terrace has a barbecue grill and a dining table, where you can enjoy stunning views of the lake while enjoying your food. The outhouse is situated next to the main building.
