Cabin vacation rentals in Savonlinna

A few friends and I wanted to get away for the weekend, and Harri’s spot in Savonranta looked amazing. Remote, quite, and full of amenities, this place was a bang for my buck. Remember to bring your bedsheets if you book this place. Only small negative is that this place is nearby Savonranta and not Savonlinna, so if you’re trying to check that city out, keep in mind that the cottage is over 50 km away. Other than that, would highly recommend this stay.

Our group had an absolutely amazing stay at Samuli's cabin, it's a place we will all cherish as we were able to create long-lasting memories. Everything was exactly as described, and there were no issues arriving and checking into the cabin. The cozy vibes simply cannot be photographed – the place is much better in person! Throughout the entire process, from pre-booking to after our stay, Samuli has been an extraordinarily helpful and proactive host, probably the best I've experienced on AirBnB. I am super grateful for his excellent communication skills and his quick responses to our questions. One thing that was slightly difficult (only because it was about -20C on the coldest day we were there) was the heating of the sauna in the winter. It took a lot of effort to keep the fire burning, but eventually we were able to enjoy some nice löyly. This is all of course understandable as it is primarily a summer cabin. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Lovely cottage and very clean. Smooth communication. Bit of a steep hill and we had some trouble getting back up with the car even without snow, but we managed.

we spent one week in Ville's cottage and It was wonderful. in case of small issue Ville responded immediatly and his father came and fixed It. so we just had to care about hiking, cycling, rowing, fishing, swimming and having sauna.

We spent wonderful relaxing holiday at Tiinas mökki. The place is definitely to recommend if you are looking for real finish holiday at the lake with sauna and fishing. Tiina is always very responsive and open to help. A car is to recommend to reach the place and doing groceries... We would love to come back...

We liked it, the house was the perfect size. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and the oven works. The sauna heats really well, and we liked the location. The only point we consider negative is with the wood. I think the heat of the sauna is very individual. Of course, you mentioned in the description that the wood is rationed, but we find it suboptimal. We did not go to the sauna twice and divided the wood accordingly. For us, this is a bit cumbersome and a bus to do without something during the well-deserved holidays. I would also provide utensils for the ice cream in the winter rental, e.g. ice cream rescuers or spikes for the shoes. This is more of a "nice to have".

We enjoyed the holiday there very much. In addition to pure relaxation, there were also plenty of activities that were offered to make the stay as unique as possible. The toboggan run, which is only a few minutes walk away from the house, was a super busy for small and large. With the snowmobile provided, we were able to explore the surroundings and drive through the snowy forests. We had a lot of fun! The highlight was also the ice bathing in the lake after the sauna as well as ice fishing. Many thanks to Arthur and his son for sawing up the hole in the frozen lake😁. Definitely worth an experience! We can only recommend this house from the whole family and assure you they will have a holiday like never before with enough fun and relaxation.

The house was exactly what we were looking for: a cabin in the middle of the woods, in full contact with nature, perfect for admiring the lake area. We were right on a lake practically everything to ourselves, we also took a nice ride on the lake with the rowboat (there was also the engine but we didn't use it) and the sauna all to ourselves! Awesome!!! In the evening, eating outdoors in silence was wonderful. When we returned to the house we turned on the fireplace, beautiful. The children especially appreciated the darts and the pier on the lake. The house had all the comforts, even if the bathroom was external and organic: a hole with a bucket underneath, where you had to throw fertilizer between times, but it was all reported and it was also fun! The only problem was the cleanliness, because the house was not very clean, but so in the middle of the woods we could safely bear: we cleaned a little and adapted. In general, I highly recommend it!!

Beautiful and atmospheric cottage with good, spacious sauna. From modern large windows, stunning views of the lake and the night sky. The surroundings behind the cottage were like another reality, as the yard and adjacent building are unfinished. We experienced a little first shock when we arrived. The owners' house is also right next door. However, you can hardly see these in the cottage or on the deck. We really enjoyed ourselves. Lovely atmosphere in the middle of nature.

My family had an amazing weekend getaway at Elena's cottage by the lake. The house is beautiful and had all the amentities we needed and more. The natural surrounding are beautiful and the atmosphere was very peaceful. We would definately stay here again!

The cottage and its equipment matched the description. The place was picturesque and peaceful, with good steam in the sauna, and a great view of the lake as a bonus. In beautiful weather, we spent time outdoors and dining on the deck.

Anne was a great host and her explanations about how to use the sauna and everything else were clear. The family's Mökki is a fantastic place in nature to relax in complete peace. Great authentic summer cottage experience! The cottage is very comfortable and the host is very friendly and helpful. The location is great as the surrounding forest grants privacy and quietness. The sandy beaches are great for children learning to swim. The water in the lake is surprisingly clear. The deck and terrace are perfect to enjoy the lake views. One even has some sight to the lake from every window of the cottage. We definitely enjoyed our stay!
