This unique house was built at the end of the 18th century by a noble family of the Berry province. It remains in the same family. It is 10km away from Bourges, which was for a few years, during the one Hundred Years’ War the capital of France. It had one of the most impressive cathedral, listed in the world heritage list of the UNESCO, and a unique civil gothic palace, the “palais Jacques cœur. Nearby are the famously vineyards of Menetou-Salon and Sancerre.

Our country house, an old Berry farmhouse, is located between Bourges, La Charité and Sancerre. It has a large unfenced garden, surrounded by old farm buildings, and fields as far as the eye can see. A stream and a small wood run along the bottom of the garden. You will find all the calm and comfort you need for a relaxing moment, a walk or a visit to the surroundings. The spacious and bright rooms combine old-fashioned charm with contemporary design.

The rooms overlook the garden, which makes them very bright and friendly. This atypical house and the tranquility of the neighborhood make it a rather natural place. Amenities and the center are within a 10-minute walk. It's easy to park on the street.

Pleasant house arranged in an outbuilding of our main residence. Less than 10 minutes from Bourges, the accommodation consists of a large living room (with a wood-burning stove) and 2 bedrooms with shower room, recently renovated. Linens and towels are provided. There's no TV. Access to the courtyard is only allowed to access the accommodation (unsecured water basin and well). Feel free to write to us to arrange schedules or dates!
