18th century manor near Bourges

This unique house was built at the end of the 18th century by a noble family of the Berry province. It remains in the same family. It is 10km away from Bourges, which was for a few years, during the one Hundred Years’ War the capital of France. It had one of the most impressive cathedral, listed in the world heritage list of the UNESCO, and a unique civil gothic palace, the “palais Jacques cœur. Nearby are the famously vineyards of Menetou-Salon and Sancerre.

Château de Rivaulde Apartment

Beautiful castle dating from 1900, located in the heart of Sologne, 2 km from the city center and the train station of the commune of Salbris. This apartment is fully renovated. 60 m2 located on the ground floor. Composed of an entrance, a living-dining room, a bedroom, a fitted kitchen and a shower room. Large French windows overlooking the vast park and period furniture. The park, with century-old oaks, is ideal for long walks to the Sauldre River.

In the countryside, just 8 km from the Saint Amand Montrond exit (A71), the Orgerie is a quiet charming cottage, comfortable with heated pool and magnificent views of the bocage. Lots of things to do nearby. The 2.5 ha estate allows for great independence of the accommodations. Possibility to rent a small house as an addition. The pool, open from mid-April to mid-October, is shared with the owners when they are there (we respect the privacy of our guests)

The cottage is located on the property of a 16th century mansion, in a wine region close to La Charité sur Loire, Pouilly sur Loire, Sancerre... Equipped with an independent entrance, it has its own garden and laundry annex. Completely restored we have decorated it by chinant and working with local materials. The ground floor includes a living room with kitchenette and shower room. The room is on the mezzanine. Enjoy the peace and quiet and greenery!

For guests looking for peace and quiet in the countryside, the cottage has a terrace and an unfenced garden. Accommodating up to 4 people, the Maisonette, (accessible for people with reduced mobility) is furnished for a comfortable stay. Close to the Loire à Vélo, the Chemin de St-Jacques-de Compostelle and the many castles of Berry, our cottage is located near a beautiful wine region (Côtes de la Charité, Sancerre, Pouilly sur Loire, Quincy, etc.)

Between the Cher and the Nièvre, in a quiet and unspoiled environment, discover this 450m2 property with its heated swimming pool (from May to October) heated at the end of May early June, its Spa surrounded by a magnificent 6 hectare wooded park crossed by a river. The property includes two fully renovated dwellings. These two buildings have extensive common areas, designed to gather with family or friends as well as several large terraces.

Ideal for couples or for 2, you need to disconnect in peace in the Berry countryside, the cozy sheepfold will satisfy you with its Nordic bath and wood-fired sauna (unlimited and private, wood provided). The environment is very peaceful, the terrace is not overlooked, and there are fields as far as the eye can see with roe deer passing through.

This romantic place to stay offers a history all its own. Belonging to the 17th century Château de Colombe next to it, this gîte is in a calm environment close to Bourges with its medieval center and world heritage Cathedral. Only 3 hours from Paris with many famous chateaux in easy driving distance, Stuart and Patrick have created an oasis of calm.
