Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sautee Nacoochee

Nothing but great things to say! Our host was super nice and responded quickly when we needed to communicate! The cabin is on the side of a mountain so you get beautiful views! With that being said I wouldn’t recommend driving at night if not used to driving mountain roads and the description of the road is accurate it’s a one way with some pull off areas for traversing. You don’t have to have 4 wheel drive during non winter season but there are people with cars that live there but we wouldn’t have felt comfortable to do that. The stairs to go up to the master bedroom are steep as she said but they have a non slip grip tape on each step and there are gates at every level for children/pets. The hot tub was so nice and was already up and running when we arrived. There were towels, dishes, some condiments, and a decent amount of kitchen utensils and such. Downtown blue ridge and ellijay are both pet friendly places! Amicalola state park is beautiful with an easy hike to the waterfall.

Wow. Beautiful. This place was so clean it took my breath away almost as much as the views! The porch, the property, the yard, it was all perfect. I can’t wait to come back to this peaceful, quiet place and bring my big doggie girl. We’ve stayed in “pet friendly” places before. Often they smell pet friendly. This place smells like nothing. The best smell EVER. It doesn’t smell like someone is covering up what you could imagine pet stays would need to conceal. It was just like being in our own home. Easy to fine, climate control easy to use, lots of windows, plenty of parking, and home was easy to access. Love, love, love.

We stayed at Debra’s place for our son’s wedding which was right down the road. It was not only beautiful but immaculately clean. The pictures are very accurate and I would say it’s even better than I imagined! Lots of closet space for luggage and clothes if needed as well. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at the lake house. It was easy, no agenda, you don’t have to leave! But when we did the leave the area is so fun, there’s a little, hiking nearby, delicious food and amazing views no matter where you. Lake Chatuge is a well hidden secret. Loved every minute. The outdoor space and deck are sprawling.

Great stay for a weekend. We’ve rented multiple cabins east of downtown Hiawassee over the past 5+ years. This one was close to downtown which afforded us cellphone coverage (some are too remote for this). The cabin was as advertised. We didn’t use the hot tub nor the outdoor fire ring but both looked great. Kitchen was well appointed for us to cook a nice dinner. A/C units kept us comfortable. Our only tiny complaint was that my daughter wanted to work on one of the jigsaw puzzles. She discovered that the pieces were jumbled up among three different puzzles, so she spent considerable time sorting them out. She deserves kudos for fixing this. ;-) We would not hesitate to rent here again.

Will be coming back to this space!! So beautiful, every detail and amenity was available and thought through. Felt right at home & was able to bring the pups! We forgot a water bowl & Lindsey had one ready for us when we got there with plenty of paw towels and doggie bags!! Also, expect a pretty steep driveway! We have a 4-WD and AWD vehicle and had little to no problems. Thank you to Lindsey for offering this amazing space !

My son and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and the host friendly. Location is tranquil, private, and close to stores/restaurants or hiking trails. Will definitely be saving this place for future getaways!

We settled into this home away from home without any difficulty. Kids enjoyed the outside and the dogs had plenty of room to run around. Each bedroom is simply furnished with comfy linens. The living area and dining space was perfect for enjoying family time. The kitchen is well stocked for whatever needs arise! The home is not far from the grocery store and restaurants but also the beautiful mountains to explore! We hope to come back!

Great location! Small cozy guest house. Parking spot was tight for our large 2500 but we made it work. Recommendations were great.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Teresa and Michael’s beautiful home for a weekend wedding at a nearby vineyard, and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth by Teresa, Michael, and their adorable dog Jack! Their home is spacious, spotless, and full of charm. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered, and we had everything we needed to feel completely at home. One of the highlights was the generous gift of fresh, free-range eggs from their hens — such a lovely touch! After the whirlwind of the wedding, we were so grateful to be able to unwind by their stunning pool area, especially since they kindly let us stay past checkout time (as no other guests were arriving that day). It was exactly the kind of peaceful, restorative moment we needed with our loved ones. Thank you, Teresa and Michael, for your hospitality, kindness and for making this weekend extra special for our entire family!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking in, and the amenities were great. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and fishing along the river. The kids toys and games were a nice addition. Nicki was very friendly and responsive. We’d love to stay here again next year!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here, from the home itself to the outdoors surrounding it was exactly the peaceful, serene environment we were needing. The house literally had everything that we could’ve possibly needed cookware wise and even cleaning wise because although we were on vacation in a neat freak and with 2 boys the messes are sure to follow. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to do with our sons. We did not want to leave 💕 thank you so much for having us.

This place is phenomenal! Even with bad weather there were a ton of games and enough space to be warm and cozy. We have so much fun inside and out. North Georgia has beautiful places to visit and, if you like stones and crystals, fun places to do simple mining. The house is wonderful, very clean, well equipped, just bring your food. Corey, the host, is great communicator and always responds my messages quick. This was our 2nd time and we are planing the return.

Tree Oasis!! Bird Dog Lodge is perfect for a getaway. Very clean and great when traveling with pets. Bobby is super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here! We’ll definitely be back!

Loads of character, bright and cheery. Host was super friendly and stocked the place with snacks and drinks. Very clean with plenty of towels and linens. Love all the farm animals. Great place to bring your dog with plenty space to roam.

We loved this little cabin so much. I am not exagerating when I say we honestly did not want to go back to our real home. Lol. We want to go back! There is so much more to do in the area that we did not get to do. The whole family enjoyed everything the cabin and location offered. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Leah’s place, Appalachian trail is just 5 min walking, this is the perfect cabin if you want to hike or just chill out! Beautiful and big porch! Leah is an amazing host, checking on us, giving recommendations, super friendly. We definitely recommend cozy cabin and want to come back soon 😊 Thank you Leah for such a great experience!!

Stunning views! If you are wanting to get away and just relax this is an amazing option while still being close to Bryson City where all the white water rafting is. Very peaceful and wonderful home! Main bed was very comfortable, great kitchen for cooking and our dogs enjoyed it as well. Would definitely come back.

Great cabin and very clean and everything needed for a stay. Rob was very responsive. The driveway was steeper then expected but we made it, overall I would stay again.

We loved this lakeside cabin. Both the cabin and exterior were very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The screened outdoor patio was great for meals. We really enjoyed the kayaks and hot tub, as well. There is a short walk to a beautiful waterfall. Access to the cabin was easy. Sarah, our host, is an excellent communicator. We would love to come back. Thank you so much.

The Dome was absolutely lovely! Maddie was proactive and friendly in her communication. Would definitely recommend!

I’d advise against driving a sedan or a small vehicle, but the drive up to the home isn’t bad at all. It’s just a little bit of a clincher. Best views I’ve ever had at a mountain cabin. Late cotober here would be a religious experience. The sun sets directly over the mountain in full view of the back porch. Incredible sight.

This is our second stay here and we loved it again! It’s an adorable space and the location on the river is so peaceful. Tons of hiking to explore nearby. Hosts were helpful and responsive. We’ll definitely be back!
