House vacation rentals in Saujon

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Beautiful Villa in a nice peaceful location

Very pleasant stay in François' beautiful villa, tastefully decorated, very well-equipped, with a superb quiet terrace and heated pool. I highly recommend it, ideal for a family stay where young and old have fun at will.

Hello, this is the second time I have come to spend some time in this villa under the pine trees of Charente Maritime. A timeless place, with the beach nearby, a place where it's good to put down your suitcases, to consume without moderation. Quiet stay in the countryside with the sound of the river as background music. Ideal for large group stays. The house is spacious, very well-equipped, and tastefully decorated. There is nothing missing and Tony and his wife are very friendly, available and attentive. Canoes allow a safe discovery of the environment for all ages.

As soon as we arrived, Nicole was welcoming. His house is amazing, perfect in the heat with the pool, but also close to many cities with lots of activity!

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

we had a very good stay with Framboise. the house is cosy and practical. it is just about 8 minutes by bike to Le Chateaux d'Oleron. bakery and supermarket are not far away. communication with Framboise was easy and quick.

We had a very nice week at Angélique's. his friendly house is very nice, very clean, well-equipped Very nice host who immediately puts you at ease with good tips about places to visit our little dog loved the presence of the donkeys and the goat. We highly recommend it and will be back. Thank you Angélique.

Nadine is a very nice, unobtrusive hostess. We were very pleased with her house, adjacent to a small garden with terrace, on the other side of the house a green courtyard with shady tree, suitable both as a parking space for the car and as a lounge area. St. Pierre with its beautiful market hall was very pleasant in the preseason, for strolling and shopping as well as with good gastronomy. We will be happy to come back and also recommend the house!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Isabelle's, even if we had to cut it short. Upon arrival, we were seduced by the charm and care given to every detail of the cottage. The place is a real cocoon nestled in a green setting, ideal for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The Nordic bath, sauna and brazier are real assets: the evening turned into a moment of absolute relaxation. Everything is as described, or even better! The calm atmosphere, the beauty of the setting and the quality of the amenities make the stay really pleasant. Isabelle is a very kind, available and discreet host, with whom it is very pleasant to interact. We came with our 2-month-old baby, and Isabelle even provided us with a folding crib. An address that we will keep and recommend! Thanks again Isabelle for this nice break.

We had a great stay at Virginie's. The contact was uncomplicated, the area offers beautiful bike paths, the cottage is functional and lovingly furnished. I'd come back anytime!!!

Very well arranged space with the necessary accessories to feel at home. Quiet & peaceful place. Sébastien is very responsive and gives good tips for activities. The only small negative point (which wouldn't be for everyone); at sunrise, a lot of light from the front door, maybe a little something to improve otherwise it's great. I recommend it and if we come back to the area, we'll be sure to come back ☺️

Beautiful address at the port of Meschers in a quiet environment, even if the restaurants and the port are a short walk from the rental. The house is even better in real life than in the photos! Very spacious, well-equipped, everything is there for a good time spent with family!

Excellent stay, large living space, private garden without a view, kitchen with all the necessities. Only a toilet downstairs, we found it annoying. And we are also not a fan of fragrance sticks everywhere in the house. Enclosed property with parking, at the edge of the residential area. All in all very satisfied.

We had a lovely stay at Nadine and Philippe's. The place was very clean, the linen provided also and the place was as described. Nadine and Philippe are warm hosts. This accommodation is located in a small corner of nature where you can enjoy the calm of the countryside while being close to the sea (less than 15 minutes). From booking our short notice stay, we had Benadettes full attention. Her communications were warm and welcoming. Her home is beautiful, tastefully furnished / decorated and comfortable.
