Al secondo piano si trova la casa di nonna Teresita, che ha visto crescere molte generazioni: in ogni stanza risuona l'eco di vite vissute, in ogni oggetto un affetto e un ricordo. Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

The location is in a separate wing of an old rural house (recently restored ) located in a characteristic ancient hamlet on the Lake Maggiore It is composed of a living, an old-style comfortable kitchen , two bedrooms and a bathroom, ideal for a 4-5 people family. The living room faces a little garden in a courtyard where it is good to relax and picnic. The place is at a few hundred meters from Caldé a most renowned location called the "Portofino of Lake Maggiore"

The apartment features a spacious 70-square-meter private terrace overlooking the lake. Given the secluded location, we suggest traveling by car, there’s no public transportation nearby the house (closest bus stop is 1,2km away).

We are located in a remote and quiet street of the Mombello di Laveno Hamlet, 3 km from the lake, but we overlook it from the hill with a beautiful view. The apartment is small but very cozy. As of April 1, 2023, there is a tourist tax. The cost is €1.50 (per night, per person) for a maximum of 7 days. Children under 14 are excluded.
