We 200% recommend Rocio and Edger’s jungle house to every single person who visit Costa Rica! We absolutely loved everything! Firstly when we made a reservation, we messaged them that we’d like to arrive by public transportation. They replied us back soon with the information. Thanks to their help we smoothly arrived, even thought it was earlier than checking time they were there to welcome us already. Melon milk as welcome drink was super fresh and tasty! It saved us from the heat! The room was pretty and clean and comfortable with everything we need. Rocio and Edger’s smiles brought peace in our mind and heart and we really were feeling like at home. Rocio guided in the garden and told us a lot about the plants and animals there. We could find toucans, monkeys, blue jeans and other animals with her help. And in the morning, there were colibrís flying around the terrace while we were having wonderful Costa Rican breakfast, súper delicioso! It was a perfect stay! Thank you so much!

We had a lovely stay at Keilor's. The house is beautiful, luxurious and very clean, it has everything you need to stay well for a few days. The Jacuzzi is a great luxury and gives beautiful views over the countryside. Unlike other houses, we found it very quiet here and the bedroom was nice and dark which is very nice for your night's sleep. Keilor has made its own birdwatching platform where you can watch a lot of different birds and also photograph them well. He also gives great tips for the area. We would have loved to stay longer.

We spent two unforgettable nights in a perfectly furnished cabin, designed for four people, which made it very spacious for us. Surrounded by the forest, we were lulled by a symphony of birdsong and the soothing sounds of nature, making us feel closer to the animals. Wendy introduced us to an incredible diversity of birds and organized memorable activities for us, such as horseback riding and an introduction to cocoa. We also enjoyed Rita's delicious cooking, which was served to us directly in our chalet, a particularly nice touch. The authentic kindness of this family touched us: they share their environment with passion and offer an exceptional experience. A huge thank you for this extraordinary stay!

The Casa Bambu was an unforgettable retreat. Marianela and her mother were exceptional hosts. They made us feel right at home and were very attentive. My husband and I will definitely be back! The lodge is very clean and everything worked properly. My husband and I came to Costa Rica for the first time to do some Machaca fishing and the river did not disappoint! If you get a chance to visit Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui, please do yourself a favor and stay here! You will be glad you did! Beautiful place and very friendly people!!
