Casa do Douro is part of a group of houses located in Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro. Taking advantage of the privileged location and view, the guest is in permanent contact with the river and the vineyard. The single house, duplex, has a common room on the 1st floor equipped with a complete Kitchenette, TV and Wi-Fi. Schist stone is a natural material used in traditional buildings in the Douro region, which is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This small house, where each window opens onto the river, was rebuilt with this assumption in mind, to be faithful to the original materials and the simplicity of the rooms. The house is completely independent and distant from the other two cabins, Casa da Oliveira and Casa da Videira, but the pool is shared with the guests of the cabins.
