Maria and her husband are friendly and nice, flexible and take care of everything in a touching way. Unfortunately, the accommodation smells damp, but this is typical for the region, as there is basically no central heating. However, you can use a provided heater. Otherwise everything was perfect. Thank you for your kindness and beautiful accommodation.

Beautiful location near (but not too close to) Sintra. Ocean view from inside. Incredibly close but I the beach. Everything necessary was there.

Lovely house in a lovely, peaceful location. Very clean. Perfect location for day trips to Magoito beach, Sintra and Lisbon. A car is recommended to get around, but we managed without and just used Uber and public transport. There is a bus to Magoito beach (7 mins) and Portela de Sintra (35 mins) + 10 mins walk to the bus stop in the village. The host was very responsive and extremely helpful when one of our group suffered a minor injury at the beach and had to go to hospital. There is a little Spar in the village which is pretty well stocked. There are also some nice and authentic restaurants (I had a lovely ‘dourada’ at ‘Cantinho da Jo’) and cafes (we liked cafe Lucio). I would recommend staying at Cristina’s house. It was perfect for our family get-together.

With my husband and 6-year-old daughter, we had a very pleasant week in Cristina's Magoito cottage. A real pleasure to enjoy this peaceful setting. The covered terrace of the chalet remains usable during light rains. And the surroundings are beautiful: walks on the cliffs and beaches 5 minutes' drive away. We recommend it without hesitation!
