beautiful apartment totally independent

Alejandra's place is as shown in the photos. Very clean. Great place to work in a peaceful setting. Amazing views especially at night. Easy walk into the village. I did not have a car and if you do, it would make traveling outside of Huaypam much easier. The town is very small. Restaurants are usually closed by 6pm . It worked out perfectly for me as I was there to work from home and also wanted to relax. Of course there are barking dogs at night ( as mentioned by another guest review) but that is to be expected when you are in a more rural area! Easy 20-30 min commute to Oaxaca and there are taxis and frequent local buses. I would highly recommend Alejandro's place as long as you will not mind that it is a bit remote overlooking the village.
An outdoor patio area is shown with a metal roof, featuring two chairs and a small table under warm string lights. Green privacy panels line the perimeter, complementing the soft ground surface. A shaded spot is created by surrounding plants, providing a tranquil setting.

A bedroom with a double bed, and a private bathroom.

We went to a wedding in Santa María del Tule and Mrs. Ana María's room was excellent, comfortable, clean, as seen in the photos. Excellent value for money. Mrs. Ana María's service was exceptional, always ready to answer our questions, giving transportation suggestions to visit downtown Oaxaca, flexibility in the check-in and check-out times. Extremely hospitable, she offered us a delicious coffee, among other things. Thanks also to her son for his kindness. Highly recommended accommodation. We'll be back for sure.

Majahua Bungalow with exceptional view

MollyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
As much as we enjoy Oaxaca City, we needed a break from the heat, the noise, the crowds. Eire’s place was delightful! Beautifully finished with a great view. San Andres Huayapam is charming, safe and friendly. There are great restaurants. We ate at Luz de Luna and then watched the moon shine over the Oaxaca valley and city from our bed at Bungalow Majahua. It is our goal to walk 10k steps a day which we easily did with quiet streets and butterflies. One recommendation—arrive during the day and have a map for your driver to look at. Ricardo met us and helped our taxi driver which was really helpful. Our cell service didn’t work well but the Bungalow’s wifi worked very well. We were able to take care of remote work, zooms and watch a movie with no problem. We really enjoyed eating breakfast and lunch out but loved eating dinner in the cosy bungalow. The shower was strong with plenty of hot water and painted the most beautiful color of blue green. No problem with mosquitos.
An oval mirror is mounted on a textured wall, reflecting a softly lit space in the background. A tall vase of white lilies sits on a stone-top console table, which is supported by decorative metal legs. The word 'Home' is displayed nearby, adding a welcoming detail.

Rest in Amelia, where the earth nourishes the soul

EliRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Great hosts! They really went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. When I unexpectedly got sick, they were right on top of it and even offered to contact a local doctor for me. I decided to leave a day early to be closer to amenities (it’s a 20-30 min walk into town and taxis aren’t always available), but if I hadn’t been sick it would’ve been hard to go. WiFi was strong, kitchen was very well equipped, and the room was comfortable so it’s a great remote work location. And I really appreciated having the doggy company. I’m looking forward to coming back some day!
