McKenzie Bridge River House near Sahalie Falls

Drive down a long private road, set off of the HWY, to find a riverfront cabin amidst the lush Willamette National Forest. As you wind through the driveway you will find a sanctuary for relaxation, recreation, and comfort. A trail from the back deck will lead you down to the bank of the emerald waters of the McKenzie River. The McKenzie River Trail parallels the property, and is accessed from the private road to the cabin. The property has a campground setting, with river and forest views.

Paradise on Private 15 Acre Wildlife Sanctuary

The Craftsman cottage is on a private 15 acre wetland providing excellent views of a wide range of birds and other wildlife. French doors open to a deck and huge yard that meets the wetland and walking path around the ponds. Less than 2 miles from the house, enjoy kayaking and walking the Luckiamute Landing Trails at the confluence of the Luckiamute, Santiam and Willamette rivers. Relaxed open design, vaulted ceilings, queen beds, wifi, smart tv with Netflix, full kitchen and coffee bar.

The Alpine Den Is perfect for all occasions, from a romantic getaway to a family retreat. Located in an old growth forest near the Salmon River, nestled under a canopy of Firs and Cedars. The cabin sits on a picturesque half acre lot, minutes away from great restaurants, markets, golf course, biking and amazing hiking trails. Indulge in a the barrel sauna with panoramic river vista. The cabin is close to endless activities up and around Mt. Hood.

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.
