Visit the 2000 yr old Tule tree (30 min away)! Visit Teotitlan and see our textiles (15 min away)!

Our house is a traditional hacienda-type house. The guest bedrooms have their only entries through the outside patio. The private heated pool awaits for a relaxing swim after a full day exploring ruins or touring the nearby pueblos! Lachigolo is a small and peaceful pueblo, about a 15-minute drive from Oaxaca along the Pan American Highway, and around 5 minutes past El Tule. The location makes it a good base for day trips to places like Hierve al Agua, Teotitlan, and Mitla.

Minimalist jewel full of light opening onto gardens of towering trees and blooming succulents, multiple terraces and a 22-meter heated, lap pool. We are part of a Zapotec town with nearby restaurants and easy transportation to Oaxaca city (25 minutes away). We offer tours to craft villages and archaeological sites. For the hiker, there are local mountain trails. And, the town of Tule is 2.5 miles away with its majestic 2,000 year-old cypress tree - a sight to see!

My sister and I had a great experience staying at this Airbnb in Oaxaca. The host was very responsive and gave us clear, helpful instructions from the start. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. He even kindly offered to help arrange a taxi to the airport, which made our departure so much easier. We really appreciated the hospitality and would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Oaxaca!
