Vacation rentals with a pool in Santiago

We were so glad we chose Casa Aloé Vera for our stay in Santiago - it was the perfect place to explore the island from. We loved eating Vany's delicious breakfasts watching the local birds from the veranda in the morning - the kingfishers are beautiful! The cottage is in a great location, just a 15-20 minute walk to Cidade Velha where there are some good restaurants and the fantastic UNESCO sights to explore. Inside the house itself is really homely, with everything you'd need to make your stay comfortable. Sonia was very communicative and even helped us find a travel agent to help with internal flight before we'd even. We'd love to return one day to this little spot of paradise.

We loved our stay here! The one word that comes to mind when I think of apartment is CLEAN! Cleanliness can be hit or miss in airbnbs, but I do appreciate the effort Nicole and her team put into providing such a clean place. I also appreciate the communication from Denise who coordinated my arrival, allowed me to check in early, and answered numerous questions I had about the area. She pointed me in the direction of where I could find an atm, water, and other necessities within walking distance. Highly recommend!

Best vacation ever! The very spacious, versatile house. The kitchen is practical and with everything necessary for our stay. The comfortable and bright rooms. The pool made the children enchanted! The apartment is well located near the university, in the neighborhood of Palmarejo that has immense life and 10 minutes from the beach of KebraKanela The Hosts were super accessible, thoughtful. Can't wait to return to this house where I felt “at home” next year

What a welcome. 🙏🥰🤗 Thanks to the whole family. The apartment we rented for the week is nicely furnished. The patio with pool are very pleasant to enjoy after a day of hiking. We enjoyed the good smells of homemade pastries cooked by Mama Donna on the ground floor every day. We enjoyed the Cape Verdean specialties. We recommend it without a second thought.

We loved our stay and recommend it for anyone. Eunice is very friendly and communicative. We hope to come back some time.

We had a great time. Everything was perfect . The place is even more beautiful and big than in the photos and the large, private pool is amazing . Gerson is a very responsive and attentive host, available to help you with your taxi transfers. I can only recommend without hesitation!

The unit is just as shown in the pictures. Very nice and clean place. New Development. Building seems to be very safe. A key is needed for the main door to access inside in the building. Safety and security was big for me and this place did feel secure. The cleaning lady was amazing and helpful. Rooftop is shared so laundry is left to dry up there but I never had any issues with my neighbors. Only downsides were the water did run out and we did not have any running water for a few hours. The master bedroom door did lock on it’s own and would not open, there was an issue with the handle it came loose and was not operating properly. Besides those two hiccups I enjoyed my time there. I stayed for about 15 days and felt at home.
