Our hosts passionately shared their knowledge of Cape Verde's history, flora, fauna and their magnificent botanical and agroecological conservation project. Far from a classic stay, this experience offered us total immersion in a preserved natural setting, where each exchange and discovery had a precious value. The accommodation was more than adequate, comfortable and perfectly integrated into the environment. For nature lovers, adventurers and those in search of meaning, this place is a haven of peace. We were so glad we chose Casa Aloé Vera for our stay in Santiago - it was the perfect place to explore the island from. We loved eating Vany's delicious breakfasts watching the local birds from the veranda in the morning - the kingfishers are beautiful! The cottage is in a great location, just a 15-20 minute walk to Cidade Velha where there are some good restaurants and the fantastic UNESCO sights to explore. Inside the house itself is really homely, with everything you'd need to make your stay comfortable. Sonia was very communicative and even helped us find a travel agent to help with internal flight before we'd even. We'd love to return one day to this little spot of paradise.

The little paradise of the little country. Remarkable place, a breathtaking life, both when you wake up and at sunset. The welcome is just as generous, the breakfast included is great. We would recommend it in a second.

I did a lot of stay in a bnb air but this one will remain the best . No other words but amazing the apartment and beautiful functional and very clean . Edna is very responsive despite the fact that she is not on site and Neves is always possible to make sure everything goes smoothly . Would 100% recommend

The stay was perfect. We enjoyed breakfast every morning. The accommodation is very large, with sea views and sunsets. The natural pools are a 30-minute walk away, and the pretty black sand beach is 10min away. The village is very cute and the locals very welcoming. Zeza responds to messages very quickly, and made our stay a lot easier by giving us information about the activities and she even booked us a day with a guide to hike in Serra Malagueta. Thanks again!

Enjoyed the stay nice views, pictures in in the house was like an art museum. It’s a very beautiful home would recommend and stay again.

nice Apartment, nice View. would have been a 10/10 If it wasnt for the Windows, which could have been cleaned better but still very nice. Personal was so friendly and the breakfast is a must have, so delicious! Never had anyone answer that fast in this App... communication 10/10! all in all very Happy. thank you!
