Florence Walled Garden is my spacious, bright, and quiet 150sqm sanctuary in the Oltrarno, atop a 14th-century palace. My daughters were born here, in the heart of San Niccolò, steps from the center and artisan workshops. From the 180sqm private garden, you will see the Tower and walls Michelangelo Buonarroti fortified in 1528, below the namesake square. The Bardini Gardens are just a short walk away. The Calimala stone testifies to the home's noble origins.
