Our house is a traditional hacienda-type house. The guest bedrooms have their only entries through the outside patio. The private heated pool awaits for a relaxing swim after a full day exploring ruins or touring the nearby pueblos! Lachigolo is a small and peaceful pueblo, about a 15-minute drive from Oaxaca along the Pan American Highway, and around 5 minutes past El Tule. The location makes it a good base for day trips to places like Hierve al Agua, Teotitlan, and Mitla.

Gisela, Sol y René son muy amables, muy atentos y serviciales. El cuarto está perfecto. El baño muy limpio y tiene ducha con agua caliente. El departamento está cerca del centro.

Alejandra's place is as shown in the photos. Very clean. Great place to work in a peaceful setting. Amazing views especially at night. Easy walk into the village. I did not have a car and if you do, it would make traveling outside of Huaypam much easier. The town is very small. Restaurants are usually closed by 6pm . It worked out perfectly for me as I was there to work from home and also wanted to relax. Of course there are barking dogs at night ( as mentioned by another guest review) but that is to be expected when you are in a more rural area! Easy 20-30 min commute to Oaxaca and there are taxis and frequent local buses. I would highly recommend Alejandro's place as long as you will not mind that it is a bit remote overlooking the village.

The location was great, 10-20min walk to get everywhere in centro that l wanted go. Room was clean and thoughtful also communication was fast and smooth. I had nice and comfortable stay!

¡Nos encantó este hermoso lugar! :) Un diseño de interiores que te hace sentir en casa, súper limpio, iluminado, amplio y bien ubicado. La cama fue una delicia (dormimos como bebés). Nos sorprendió la excelente atención de Emiliano (¡muchas felicidades!), al pendiente de nosotros en todo momento y siempre dispuesto a apoyar con muy buenos consejos. Gracias por unos días mágicos en este lugar tan bello que nos permitió descansar y disfrutar de Oaxaca al máximo.
