Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Santa Cruz County

I rented this property to host a lot of very close business acquaintances that I've made over the past few years and I needed a place that could host at least 12 people, with privacy for each small group of 2. This location had 6 bedrooms and each bedroom had it's own private bathroom. I couldn't have asked for a better setup for each of my groups of guests to feel like they all had some very real privacy to retire to. I will absolutely be renting this property again as I host these weekend events again. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'll need to cook large meals for lots of people. The dining area is large enough to accommodate everyone. The elevation means that the weather is nicer during the summer. Honestly if you're looking for a country getaway for a large group, this is an amazing place.

This peaceful paradise was just what we needed for our large family. We had no issues: instructions were perfectly communicated before our arrival, the bedrooms were larger than I expected, home was very clean and spacious and the complimentary wine over sunset was the cherry on top! The grass and patio surrounding were very enjoyable for our kids and dogs. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We hope to stay again in the future <3

Staying at Alanna's felt like staying at the house of a friend who adores you - and has Martha Stewart-level hosting skills, someone who really has gone above and beyond. As to the basics: the home was clean, welcoming, and charming. The sheets were incredibly soft, the bed incredibly comfortable, the shower was spacious with good water, the kitchen had everything we needed. But what really set this apart from all other Airbnbs I have stayed at (and hotels and resorts, for that matter), were all the incredibly thoughtful touches--not just a dental kit (which was clutch due to a packing snafu), but also folded robes and chocolates on a tray on the bed, homemade body scrub (!), face masks, a fully stocked coffee setup with jazzy Nespresso machine, caramel and vanilla syrups, and a milk frother, and many thoughtful snacks and beverages. It truly was a delightful place to stay, and Alanna was very responsive for every request and patient with my fumbles about checkin details.

Cute, comfortable little house; very convenient to bird-watching locations in Patagonia. The owners were quick to respond to our questions.

The Retro was perfect for our needs! Easy to walk to everything downtown, the AC worked perfectly, really nice shower, and the space was comfortable, cozy, & clean. The fenced yard was especially great for our dogs. Free laundry in a nearby building, and the WiFi internet was appreciated! Highly recommend Joni’s place in this quaint little town. 😊

What a fantastic property in Sonoita. My family loved the house, especially the gathering room off the side by the driveway. It was perfect for our small party. Beautiful, serene, and close to all of the vineyards that we love. Ilan was also a great host and everything was accurate and he was extremely responsive. Will definitely stay here again!!

We really enjoyed our stay even though we were out and about a lot! Being on the outskirts of Nogales was really relaxing and quiet after busy days filled w/ people and activities. Restaurants were only 8 minutes away ! We highly recommend Christopher' s AIR B N B !

First and foremost, this is home! Chip and Sandy are the best hosts one could ask for! The apartment is impeccable and looks exactly like the pictures! This is a fully equipped home. Name it, it’s there! Attached is a beautiful sun deck that looks out to amazing mountain views and as an added bonus the families of deer. There are fully stocked convenience stores, a couple restaurants, the bank and a large Dollar store. All located 5 minutes away . And if you want to hit the lake, it’s only 12 miles away. If I started over and summed it up , I’d say this is the place you need to be! If you are seeking total peace and tranquility, and don’t even want to go out, Chip and Sandy’s is the place to be! You guys are the best! We will be back!

The apartment was very comfortable, with everything we needed and very clean. We'll definitely be back. The host communicates very well and responds quickly. In a very central area and easy to get to all places.

This was an amazing stay! The place was just as described, and very clean. Really nice vibe, great view out of the french doors. Next to Don Cabezas a plus as well. The host was absolutely amazing - great communication and she went out of her way to be kind and to be accomodating!

The casita was a perfect one night stop as we visited nearby Tumacacori National Historical Park and the Anza trail. The location was a short drive from several restaurants, shops, and a coffee shop, and you could either walk or drive to visit Tumacacori. We enjoyed a good meal at Melio’s Trattoria after a long day of hiking. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean.

Electric, relaxing, and comfortable. I wish I had time to just hang out there and chill.

Lovely stay. Beautiful area, a short walk to Tubac. Veronica's condo is nicely located and has all you need to enjoy your time. Highly recommend this condo.

Paula, my host, is outstanding. The unit is about as perfect as you can imagine. Community heated pool and spa are spotless, as was the unit. I had zero to complain about and will try to use this unit again, if possible. You'll love Tubac, Paula's unit... and Paula!

Beautiful duplex type accommodation that appears to have just opened. Paint and all furnishings looked brand new. Great location and views!

The owner was extremely responsive. letting me know the unit was available for an early check in. Plus was very accommodating when i had to extend my stay with workarounds for my situation. The units are located in a field in farm land area somewhat isolated from the road. There are two bedroom but one bedroom also kind of serves a a living room. The kitchen is a galley set up with limited space. There is a great firepit, outdoor dining accommodations and barbeque. They even supplied all the charcoal, starter and barbeque utensils.

Vicki’s home is truly amazing. We loved the decorating—the pictures don’t do it justice! The attention to detail is amazing. Everything is so well done. The location couldn’t be better—the interchange is very close by. And one thing we really appreciated, and something we have had issues in the past at other vacation rentals—plenty of parking for a condominium! It was never an issue. A very quiet area, and neighbors couldn’t have been nicer. Tubac is such a great artist community. Elvira’s restaurant is out of this world! And hopping on the interstate, we were at other locations in no time. The 75mph speed limit definitely helped! Just a wonderful location and a wonderful host! Highly recommended!!
