Monthly Rentals in Santa Croce, Venice

Elena's apartment is very well designed. Nothing is missing for a pleasant stay (very well-equipped kitchen, basic ingredients, umbrellas and sun hats to deal with all situations!). The decor is elegant (we really enjoyed the reproductions of paintings), guides and books are available. We're a long way from impersonal. We chose this neighborhood (West Dorsoduro) that we didn't know yet. We loved it! The calm, the authenticity, the small cafes and restaurants, the proximity of the Zattere which allows you to move around easily everywhere, the proximity also of Piazzale Roma (10 min) which avoids carrying suitcases through the city. Elena is extremely responsive and accommodating. Thanks to her.

Michela was a great host and responded promptly when we had any questions. The location in the quieter Dorodurso district was to our preference because it was close but away from the maddening crowd. To us this meant less competition for meals and a very short 10 minute walk to Campo Santa Margarita where there were many excellent restaurants and grocery store. Location was a short walking distance to and from the bus and train stations - no competition with crowds looking for water taxis or other transportation. Other parts of Venice meant longer walks and greater risk of getting lost. And finally, no late night noise from party goers!!!

We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment. It's spotlessly clean and has all mod cons you could hope for: hairdryer, WiFi, new TVs and a coffee machine. It's conveniently located close to the city's bus and rail stations, which was very helpful to us as we arrived after a late flight. We especially appreciated our hosts speedy response time and the excellent restaurant suggestions. Would recommend.

Feel like a true Venetian in this lovely apartment right off of the Grand Canal! It is very convenient for arrivals at Santa Lucia railway station or Piazzale Roma. The apartment is full of natural light and spacious. Open one of the windows and see the view outside - gorgeous and dreamy! The double shower is unique and the water pressure is fantastic. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. We fully recommend! Don't hesitate to book! Michele met my husband and I at Piazzale Roma when we arrived. He walked us back to the apartment and pointed out the places to avoid and those to go to. He went above and beyond with helping us settle in and to feel comfortable navigating Venice. He and his wife provide a detailed list of their favorite restaurants and other local places to visit. They left us some locally bought treats to enjoy - yummy! We felt very cared for. Easy check-in, great communication, and wonderful hosts! Grazie mille!
